On Friday, Nov. 8, the “Black Voters for Trump” coalition will launch in Atlanta, Ga., according to Katrina Pierson, a senior adviser to the Trump 2020 campaign. Black Voices for Trump is “a coalition dedicated to recruiting and activating Black Americans in support of President Trump,” an announcement about the event stated. Black Americans have never had a better champion than President Trump,” said Pierson in a Nov. 4 tweet. “The Black Voices for Trump coalition will be a national effort to mobilize and empower Black Americans who support President Trump to help get the message of ‘Promises Made, Promises Kept’ into communities across America.” https://www.cnsnews.com/article/nat...murcia/black-voters-trump-launch-friday-nov-8
Is there a “White voters for Trump” too? That’s normally the objection when there is any other kind of group or organisation focusing of the unique circumstances of a minority group?
Are they getting special ballots worth more than one vote? No? Then I doubt anyone will be too upset.
Can't wait! Democrat racism has gone on too damn long. My ancestors had to mow them down in the civil war!
I am surprised at how uneducated you appear to be. Do you have a theory on when the confederates packed up and left the south to places like Boston, New York, it Washington?
Dems are shaking in their boots at the thought of losing some black voters. Careful, the last time Republicans took folks off the democrat plantation there was a Civil War.
There was no racist intent by me in posting this thread. Its news and its important to the current political climate.
Because in todays climate any mention of race in any context and the left is liable to go off on a tangent and start throwing the race card around. Ive been there done that
Trump's team needs to get the word out ---- no president in our lifetimes has been better for the black community than Trump. Unemployment is down, wages are rising, the economy is growing, and Trump's not running around trying to gin up hatred between blacks and the police either (like Obama did.) Hopefully this also help blacks see that it is Republicans who care ---- versus Democrats who only pander to them for their votes and then ignore them until the next election ---- and it is Republican/Trump programs which are benefiting them ---- versus years of the status quo from Democrats. It's like Republicans are literally offering to escort blacks off the plantation. I hope this is well received in the black community. I'll be curious to see the left's push back; they've always taken the black vote for granted.
Like Stevie Wonder sang, very surreptitious, because everybody from the preacher to the beauty shop to barber shop can make life difficult for blacks if they do not tow the democrat line and are out in the open about it.
These folks aren't asking for anything special, no one is promising them anything special and they're not being called oppressed victims.
The white voters for Trump are loosely organized, but absolutely unified. Our only recourse is elections.
It's not just blacks who would have reason to fear retribution from Trump-hating liberals/progressives/alt-lefties ---- they will harass any Trump supporters. Has there been any other time in history when people were attacked in the street for supporting the president or wearing attire supporting the president, or when prominent Republicans have been harassed in restaurants or at their private homes? The left thinks they can win by silencing the opposition, but you're right Fred, the secret ballot can sneak up to bite them in the ass. It did in 2016.
Then why do they need a special blacks only organisation? Why not just have "American voters for Trump"? Again, this is still exactly the conversations we see around other black organisations, you're just usually on the other side .
It's the blacks. They themselves are leading the walk-away, and it takes guts. They want to do it. Do you think you should stop them?
That's right. The Democrats will waste no time in calling them Uncle Tom's, Sell Outs, etc. While the Dems won't get as physically violent against Black Americans as they have in the past there'll still be other forms of ostracism.
