Like I said, you clearly don't engage with black Dem voters and try to understand why they vote that way. They understand your party far better than you ever will.

 

I'll believe 18%-21% when I see it replicated at an election. The GOP got 9% of the black vote in the 2018 midterms, which is very much in keeping with the historical average and a bit lower than some GOP Presidents.

If Trump gets another result around the 10% mark the GOP & its supporters once again have to ask themselves why the 'party of Lincoln' (not that he would recognise it now) is so unpopular with black voters. Based on past history they will fall back on familiar explanations that tell themselves what they want to hear.

 

He's actually polling higher with black males. He has lower support from black females (who the dems define as the core of their constituency).

 

I remember just last election when Hillary said she was late because she was on "colored people time", and she carried hot sauce around in her purse.

Why would Blacks vote for the GOP which is ACTIVELY trying to SUPPRESS their Constitutional Right to Vote? That makes as much sense as the chickens voting for the Colonel.

 

What you remember about Hilary is irrelevant. What black voters remember about the GOP & Democrats is what matters. Their lived experience of those two parties is expressed in how they vote. That is something GOP supporters point blank refuse to address, so they talk about how black voters are 'fooled' or 'bribed' or 'on the plantation'. Gotta stick to the narrative, even if it is one of the reasons for the problem..
