    Metoprolol slows down the heart rate, it's a beta blocker and used for hypertension. I take Metoprolol on a 'prn' basis for A-fib.

    Agreed...not to mention his recent failures in campaigning for Republican Gubernatorial candidates. Now, Pelosi has invited him to testify, under oath, to the Intelligence Committee this week and PRIOR to the witnesses called. That may also add new pressures...preparing for his testimony.

    Yep, the five easy steps to a very healthy life

    1) eat twice as much vegetables in weight as meat

    2) raise your heart rate to 140-160 for 20 mins everyday

    3) drink 1 gallon of water everyday

    4) don't drink alcohol

    5) don't smoke or do drugs

    Yep, I get mine prescribed by a civilian Doc and filled through Express Scripts and paid for by TriCare out of the DOD budget. So two parts of our government health systems have different drug Formularies.
    You cannot plan such disjointed policies by our government even if you tried to.

    Just a couple of years shy of 70 myself but I am maintaining my own stamina through regular exercise. I 100% agree about stress and the past 4 years have been exceptionally stressful for multiple reasons. Without the regular exercise I would not have been able to handle that degree of stress IMO. The exercise not only keeps me fit but it gives my mind the time to put everything into perspective.

    The BLOTUS's lifestyle and diet are sub optimal and given the stress of his job it is only surprising that this has not happened sooner. His inability to control his impulses must play havoc with his BP.

    Yes, the Walter Reed visit was probably just erring on the side of caution but I doubt that it will result in him changing any of his ingrained habits. Perhaps being removed from office sooner or later will be the best thing for him healthwise.

    If anything Trump appears to be more energetic as time goes on-like he's enjoying the job more each day.

    There are plenty of legitimate criticisms of Trump-but saying he's unhealthy isn't one of them.

    Meanwhile dems have Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders so....
