I believe both Trump and the White House have acknowledged the unannounced trip to Walter Reed. They claim it was for tests in preparation to his physical scheduled for next year.

What do you reckon the choice would have been if there was not an issue, given the WH is saying he had a free day?

    1. I'll go to hospital to get a head start on my annual check-up.
    2. I will play 18 holes.

Ranks up there with him falsely claiming that his innaugeration crowd was the largest ever.

Is he a sick liar or a lying sicko? You Trump fans can choose.

I haven't any idea, quite honestly, WHY the President of the United States might choose to do some of the things he does. But, if it's so important to you, I suggest you contact him on Twitter and ask him.

Do me a favor while you're at it... I don't like his "wall" thing (which has already developed 'holes' and gates, and which MEXICO was supposed to pay for), and, I don't like his incessant effort to crush interest rates on people's savings accounts down to zero (or below). Please bitch at him about those things for me, if you will. Thank you.

Hint: not all of us who defend this man from senseless attacks by stupid people necessarily like everything about him.... 8)

Hopes and prayers are appropriate as well as a get well soon wish for a sik man, a possibly very sick man. We all should wish any sick person well as long they are not corrupt. No American wants a sick man in the Oval Office.

Nixon had a sudden flare up of phlebitis that caused a surprise trip to the hospital, just before he was forced to resign.

Trump nominated his former physician for surgeon general after he gave Trump a clean bill of health. Before the election, he hired a phony physician to give him a clean bill of health.

Buttigieg is healthy, right? I wait. I forgot that he's a gay. So it is possible you don't consider him to be a person. Never mind.

That is not nice.! You should be sending your hopes and prayers so that he is on the road to recovery from his sickness or infestation or whatever disease has befallen him.

The guy does command a large arsenal of nuclear weapons so we do not need anyone who may have an illness affecting his decisions.

My theory based on observations of family and close friends is that stress very likely causes short term and long term negative effects. The cardio vascular system may be compromised in both the short and long terms. In the long term stress very well may be the trigger for malingnancies. Therefore early detection of a problem is highly recommended.

Then make certain that you don't vote for any of the existing Democrat Party candidates... especially poor old Bernie Sanders, or Geriatric Joe....

Well, stress causes hormones to surge and that makes the heart beat faster and blood vessels to narrow. For someone with high blood pressure or is compromised with a bad heart to begin with, stress can induce something sudden and unexpected, even getting shortness of breath and passing out can be caused from stress.

It is impossible for me or anyone else to vote for a "Democrat Party" candidate since there is no such thing as a "Democrat Party" on any ballot anywhere in the USA. Of course I will not have a voice in the Democratic Party primaries so my votes willl not be cast until the General and I very likely have to write in a candidate.

That is one reason that certain blood pressure medications combine pressure reducers with heart beat regulators. At least that is what I was told about metoprolol. Sadly the VA does not approve of metoprolol so make eats takes two separate medications. But WTH why save taxpayers money and make it easier on Vets.

I think as you get older, you have to be more proactive in your medical care. Never hurts to err on the side of caution, especially once you hit your 60's and 70's.

Trump is no doubt under a tremendous amount of stress given the investigation and upcoming elections. Sometimes the body sends messages when the stress level reaches a certain point. Having a medical issue is the last thing that Trump needs at this point.
