Laws are to establish rules to govern society and to establish punishment for people who break them..

It a logical impossibility for laws to prevent crime.

 

At the same time that Trump pressured Ukraine to announce an investigation against Joe Biden, Trump's own internal polling showed that he would lose to Biden by double digits.

 

I am afraid of letting a guy who tried to cheat in the election to take place in that election without even attempting to hold him to account.

Biden is the worst campaigner in America and he is losing his mental faculties. He's got a 40 year track record of being on the wrong side of opinion of just about every foreign policy ever made. Now he claims he had no idea that his son working for a corrupt Ukrainian company while he was point person for relations with the Ukraine might even look bad.

The most ridiculous decision that Pelosi and Schiff made was to focus impeachment charges on Ukraine....unless they want to knock Biden out of the running while they were taking swipes at overthrowing Trump's election. Poor Biden. Collateral damage....or a planned take down by his own party?

Who thinks that Donald Trump needs a Ukranian version of the fabricated Steele Dossier to take out Biden? That's just ludicrous.

Biden has never won a difficult campaign like Trump, he loafed in the Senate for decades in a safe Dem state and was chosen to be VP by Barry. You can tell by how he breaks down when asked a normal political question, he's used to getting nothing but softballs from the corrupt MSM.

 

But he did rob the bank. He is just in jail awaiting trial.

The Durham report may provide a clearer picture of which party tried to sway an election with the cooperation of top figures in our supposedly unbiased intelligence department. So far we have "No collusion" on Trump's side, and "There were definitely improprieties" on the other side.

 

Trump wants to make a show out of it, I'm sure, and call witnesses, whereas the GOP Senators will just want to put an end to this as quickly as possible. We'll see, I guess.

 

I always find it so amusing that the Democrats wanted to impeach Trump before he was elected and surprised we dont give a damn about a kangaroo court.

There are no crimes in the Articles of Impeachment which only vindicates him and proves the 3 years of you ranting about crimes has been a bunch of hot air.

 

Using envoys is not an impeachable offense and is not one of the articles. The only "scheme" has been the Democrats trying to create one.

Maybe. But what the IG report did do was shoot down all of Trump's conspiracy theories.

The investigation was warranted.
There was no political bias involved in it.
No wire taps in Trump tower.
No spies in the campaign.
No dossier starting the investigation.
No overthrow of the government.
No entrapment.

 

Democrats must be spooked. Nadler abruptly ended markup and announced the vote today without any notice to the minority. The dems abuse of power will not end well.
