Privately spent money is far more productive than government spent money. If we had a 50% cut in spending, couple with a 30% tax cut, it would wipe out the debt AND grow the economy.

Decided to stop apologizing for Obama? Good... maybe we're making some progress. I'm sure as hell not apologizing for Trump....

Now, why is Trump exploding the deficit in times of good economic activity and the lowest unemployment rate in 50 years? I honestly do not know. The only explanation I have seen so far is that the big CENTRAL BANKS (i.e., the "Fed", the European Central Bank, etc.) wanted to crush interest rates (again!) and provide more "stimulus" (i.e., 'print' more money) in order to guard against another recession (because Europe, primarily, is "in trouble"... again.... .).

I don't buy it, and it's just possible that you don't, either. I went to some lengths to try to explain that I don't like Trump's approach to nearly everything we've seen in the economy for a while now, but evidently you'd rather just emit your usual 'one-liner' responses instead of probing this in any depth. No surprise. Why not just tell us some more about how wonderful Obama's performance was as the Federal Reserve's 'house-pet' president....

The tax rate cuts produced record tax revenues and Bush43 and the Republican Congress brought the deficit down to a paltry $161B for FY2007. THEN the Democrats took control of the Congress, cut Bush out and raised the deficit to $1,400B. Obama and his fellow Democrats handed himself that $1,400B deficit not Bush.

It's still Trump who is adding the debt with HIS economic plans that are tossed through.
Good thing they didn't approve the Trump wall. Otherwise the debt would be much larger.

as you know, democrats couldn't "cut bush out". He was president, and they did not have a veto proof majority. The deficit exploded due entirely to the republican caused recession, which was the worst recession in 80 years.

Trump is wasting around 30 million on taxes more to spend on vacations in 3 years in what Obama needed in 8.
Can I hear a whoop whoop from the GOP to support wasting taxes on vacations by the +100 million?

It's good to know you GOP support wasting taxes by the 100's of millions so an alleged multimillionaire can play golf.

It's good to know that Democrats are worried over several Million on presidential expenses and over a $10 Billion request for a border defense wall, but seem unruffled over promises from Democrat candidates to spend multiple Trillions to gain more power for the government. That makes sense.

The data table on the website shows the amount of times, just not the cost. Where can I get that information?

    Also, where are Obama's statistics?

That is unadulterated Bullshit. The senate holds just as much sway as house. Both parties with the exception of 2 dozen tea party members all the politicians play the same game. More spending and less taxes. Big deal republicans ask for cuts that they know they wont get, so they can harp on it., Dems ask for more social programs that they know they won't get and both are too scared to raise taxes for the votes they want.to buy with either defense or social spending.

I agree with you, first sentence excepted of course. RINO's spend like Dems.

Assuming you are calling BS on my prediction that we will see budget cuts during Trump's second term, that is my opinion, so it remains to be seen. We do have far better odds of cuts with a Republican-led House than the zero odds with a Dem House.

The government budget is $4.7 TRILLION. That means they spend $12.8 BILLION every single day, 24/7. That means they spend over half a MILLION every single hour, and almost $9 Million every single minute.

You are worried about giving the president a 12 and a half minute vacation.

I anyone worried about the Democrats plans to increase spending by Trillions with no talk of reducing current spending?

I'd be happy to give Trump at least 30 minutes of the government budget to go relax and play some golf, especially since his donates his salary to charity. :)

The economic plans are the plans from Trump. And when the GOP support that a multimillionaire gets +100's of million in aid to go on vacation,... than what a joke they are for being against giving money for people who have a hard time.

You mean that a guy who owns dozens, if not hundreds of businesses, gets to keep his businesses open while he is elected for several years of public service to the country? What a scandal.

Oh my! Perhaps we should have all politicians sell off their assets and start from poverty before qualifying for the nation's highest office.

Not helping people who have a hard time?

You mean like the Trump's Opportunity Zones program which encourages private investors to spend money on inner-cities and poor pockets of America without charging a dime from taxpayers? You know, the places who have gotten zero help for decades from their community, city, and state, much less the federal government.

But those are just cost estimates (read the asterisk), I'm looking for the actual data.

Also, the only statistics for Obama are the number of times he has played golf, but not the cost.
