The different ways of using medical marijuana are worth the research.

It is pretty easy to tell the difference between a good wielder and a bad wielder. Same with carpentry. Give them a test, see how they perform.

If they are not on site, they aren’t managed by the government. All you have to do is see who cuts the pay checks.

Well, China is a capitalist society then. Glad we solved that.

I'm not sure she really understood the concepts.

My point seems to be getting lost. There are students who just don't "have it" and having to accept their shortcomings causes some of them to go off the rails.
Sure. K-12 teachers often accommodate different learning styles.

I mentioned edibles in terms of your concern about the public smoking of marijuana. It has nothing to do with medical marijuana.

Canadians are getting quite the education these days from our screwed up country.

When I first went to Canada more than fifty years ago, a lot of Canadians wondered why an American would go North (I wasn't a draft dodger). These days, Canadians are glad they were born there instead of here.

Seems we're on that track in states where marijuana is legal.

When a community needs a new school or hospital, in Canada they lobby the provincial government for the money. When they need more nurses or ER doctors--ditto. The provincial government controls the money. Their budget is set by senior government.

That's how I view it- capitalism without liberty (read: feudalism). The entire nation is one big plantation, PolitBureau slavers pretending they have a delegated mandate from The People to 'manage' and 'protect' (read: enslave) The People for 'The Greater Good', but really its just the political elite using their monopoly on force to enrich themselves on the backs of the peasants. Its feudalism masquerading as equality.

Once again, you ignore the actual content of my post. You are impossible to communicate with.

Now I know you're not serious.

At no time have I said our system is 'bad'. I'm a huge fan of our public health system, and will always fight for it. I would never accept the barbaric American system.

Please explain how you managed to get your response so wrong.

No, a change of 'ownership structure' is all that is. Is it a for-profite enterprise? Buying and selling products and labour? It's capitalism.

China is totalitarian nascent capitalism, previously quasi-feudal. It's never been socialist.

How about the capitalism used by corporations to keep illegals in the shadows by hiring them without and not reporting them . They can do it any time but instead, they pay sub standard wages to make more money.

Going to double down on your claim? I want us to train more doctors and let the market take care of their salaries.
"Ours?" Who are you talking about?

I'm all for more strict regulations to prevent that. We should start in California, where its not even legal to require proof of citizenship as a prerequisite for employment, allowing such corporations the ultimate excuse to avoid culpability in the practice.

However, if we were truly interested in preventing immigrant wage slavery, we'd cut off corporations supply of undocumented immigrants at the border. We don't because people need cheaper lettuce, apparently.
