We can't just magic up a few dozen hospitals. Nor can our hospitals simply drop everything else and focus only on this. Its getting to the point that expectations have far exceeded realistic solutions...

 

Huh? Aren't you watching the news? They are flying in foreign doctors and nurses in Italy, as if it's some war torn African country.
Italy has the 2nd best healthcare system in the world... you know. It's just THAT massive.

Some hospitals in hard-hit Lombardy are at saturation point, unable to admit new patients. Every day is a scramble to find more intensive care beds than the critically ill who need them. There still aren’t enough protective masks to go around.

 

The solution is for people to stay home and slow the infection to a rate that our hospitals can handle.

 

In fact, Trump's opposition is openly cheerleading for this pandemic and other catastrophes Trump haters think might nullify the 2016 election and rig the 2020 election.
The public is onto them.

All this election cycle hyperventilating only diminishes Trump's opposition. How much is the DP paying its "expert" political advisors?

Pff. If you want to make it rapidly spread than you only need to have people who are unaware they are effected mingle all over the place. Currently that is possible. Currently that's made not possible in a heck of a lot of EU countries who are closing everything down.

If you make it slow down, by closing all kinds of facilities so people can't mingle, than there is no sharp high demand for hospital beds. And it seems like this is all new to you. Really? lol

I think the market has been overvalued for sometime, this was just the straw that broke the camels back, it had to pop sometime

that said, what worries me is that the fed has been trying so hard to keep the bubble up for so long, and we are now down to zero, what do we do when the recession hits - go negative interest... sign me up, I will take a billion dollar loan

 

Not true. I have friends lucky enough to live on a sweet family farm deep back in Henry County, Ky. They have clean water, milk cows, crops and a garden. Chickens and pigs, too. There's good fishing nearby.

Rural hospitals are a severe problem in our country, but my country friends are in a much better position for a pandemic than I am here in Houston Tx. Simple demographic fact.

All kinds of companies are being grinded to a hold. It's costing a fortune. It aint a straw. It's a massive hit.
You can see how it even affected the air quality in China. Same crap is going down in Italy, France and Spain.
No doubt Germany will be next. Good attempt to downplay it though.

We talk Gross DOMESTIC Product.
Plus Norway doesn't have a huge underclass including

Of course we're going into a recession, we literally froze the markets in response to Corona. There's no chance we wouldn't be in a recession. The issue is, can we rebound from it quickly enough.
