LOL bet you can't find that quote....So you are saying he started a task force and ended travel from china for something he thought "nothing to worry about".

Yes, he has been quoted with a link several times when he said we have fifteen and soon it will be zero. He also tried to link this to some kind of liberal hoax.

He thought stopping travel from China was the end all solution but it wasn't. And he has continued to diminish the severity of this, even potentially exposing everyone leading the efforts to combat this by making a point of shaking everyone's hand - even knowing he might be infected!!!

While I haven't followed every little tidbit of news on this, I havent seen anything where Trump is trying to coordinate with Governors on this. The Fed response has been tepid, at best, focusing more on the stock market than actually dealing with the virus.

Hitler? Far from it. Nero might be a more fitting example.

Stupid is as stupid does. Trump contracting the disease could be argued to be a net positive for the country.

I was just talking to my 34 year old son on the phone, and he mentioned that the baby boomers are an at-risk group for the virus.

Then he added that at least Social Security would still be there for him.

He called that "the glass being half full".

349 died in Italy yesterday. There isn't enough room in the ER and so people die alone in the allies of the hospitals, alone because friends and family aren't allowed in. That's how bad it is. That and the stock markets keep on crashing. The army is used in Spain to make people stay home.

Can you tell me when this happend before?

Oh come on, this is no worse than common seasonal flu! The news is a world wide conspiracy to ensure trump loses the election. No need to modify your daily actions. Nothing to worry about.

For now. The US will still be without any kind of vaccination in the coming weeks, probably still months away. And the virus aint going to wait. In fact, Norway asked it's citizens to flee the US because of it's poor health care services.

China's first documented case of Corona was December 1st and they finally notified the World Health Organization on December 31st.

China is directly responsible for not informing us in a timely manner

I just checked the net as far as news. It's been changed.Just within the
last hour or so.Kentucky went from 12 cases to 21.In less than a few hrs.
    Plus Indiana at 24.
This is being manipulated to make way for Emergency state measures
to close down Restaurants and bars. This is Orwellian.[/QUOTE]

Turns out the first and only Coronavirus death,a 66 yr.old man
from Bourbon county died from complication and the Governer's
statement was that the Coronavirus was just one factor.
Meaning that Guy was Primed for problems anyway.Probably would
have died faster had it been standard Influenza.
Look for more of this type reality. That Deaths from Coronavirus
usually can be directly attributed to other factors.Other health
    issues.

Italy seems like a statistical outlier when compared with other nations. That makes me ask why. What about Italy makes this virus so much more dangerous there than in other nations?

Norwegians have a totally different philosophy of Living.
Dennis Prager once cited it.They actually suffer low expectations.
They have very little drive to be successful.Very content to live
simple, uncomplicated lives.Meaning they live to play it safe.

I’m going to continue to check this thread every day until the virus subsides and or enough people are dead that the 1400 CEO’s who suddenly resigned , including Bill Gates, return from their private isolated estates., to celebrate population control experiment test 1.0 was successful

Italy has 60 million people. Do the math, look at the bigger picture. It sucks that people are dying, but shutting down everything and crashing the global economy due to panic and fear will only make it worse in the long run...

Are there medical resources being stretched to the breaking point? Do they have hospital beds for everyone who needs one?

I think the shortage was in ventilators, not beds.

Britain's Health Minister was on tv saying to anyone that makes them that they had a ready buyer in Britain.

Not a problem that can be fixed today. Not sure what you are getting at...

We know the at risk groups. The Elderly and those with pre-existing
    medical conditions.
That is why Italy was stuck so hard in the North.Because a lot of
Elderly live in Northern Italy. But what is news is how many manufacturing
firms like Textile are in Northern Italy. And that meant workers from
China and of course Wuhan. All it would have taken is a few Wuhan
textile Factory workers coming back to Italy from Wuhan over the Christmas
    holiday.
The Streets of Northern Italy even Rome are empty.
The Pope { First time in my lifetime has done this } walked the streets of Rome
alone { with bodyguards of course } to go to a church he likes to perform
    Mass.
    In 1918 during the Spanish flu { The most lives lost due to flu }
those at risk were the very young and very old.50 Million died.

By not shutting things down you cause the medical infrastructure to collapse. Was the point too nuanced?

I read that some Millennials are calling the virus the "Boomer Remover."

Had their caseload been dropping? They shutdown a week ago. Either way, if the resources they need don't currently exist the result is the same...
