I think Pootin is more of a 19th century guy - land grabs, indiscriminate killing, openly hunting for journalists, etc.

In Italy the Russian troops are helping to build a hospital in the hardest hit area, and in Serbia, Russia is sending 11 transport planes with medical aid, doctors, etc. The gratitude of the Serbian president is immense. He said it shows that Serbia will never be alone again. When he asked Germany for help, even though they were doing everything to get Serbia to join the EU, he received no response.

Take a look at that cargo coming off of the Russian shipment to the U.S. What do you see? Medical supplies, right? Now look any time the U.S. sends aid to the Third World. What do you see? That's right ..... sacks or boxes with "GIFT FROM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" written all over them. DISGUSTING. I don't know the cost of ink or the cost of having people or machines that print that stuff but it seems to me that cost could be used to send more goods instead of forcing American propaganda down the throats of the starving population of the world.

Sanctions against what crime? Yes, I know that the "Innocence Project" has determined that between 2.3% and 5% of all prisoners in the U.S. are innocent but can't you keep it to yourself and leave the rest of the world in peace?

Well, Russia and Serbia have always had close relations due (in part) to the shared Russian Orthodox Church but your point is valid and understood.

Of course the goods were sold, Russia is not running a charity for its enemies. Half of the goods were paid outright, and the other half probably on arrival. The difference is that when other nations like Cuba ordered supplies, Washington stopped the shipment by sanctioning the company. This means for Washington its politics as usual, and they will squeeze and gain whatever they can from a situation - and who cares how many die.

As for Italy and now Serbia, the arrangements for payments to cover costs will probably be gradual due to their economic situation at the time. From what I gathered, Russia is generous as long as it can be without burdening its own people. I know they have forgiven poor nations their debts - which the EU and West in general, stupidly project as weakness. I'm saying this because when Nuland and company had the coup in Kiev, the EU asked Russia to continue to be generous to Ukraine. The response: Bye, bye Crimea.

As for Italy, I don't think they will be paying the full cost, since the soldiers and medical staff would have been on the Russian payroll regardless. But I'm sure Italy will pay for the goods from Russia, as well as the extra costs of its military being in Italy rather than Russia where everything would be much cheaper.

As for the 11 cargo planes now flying goods to Serbia, the arrangements might be political. Of course I'm just guessing here, but it's an educated one.

May I recommend actually reading the rules and regs for the money, and what it is to be used for before you make such statements?

The US sent medical supplies over to China to help them get through their peak, and there was plenty of braying from some groups about that "he's giving away all our supplies!'

Trump has many flaws, but if you are going to try and make him look bad, at least pick something he has actually done or not done.

    Lot's of projection there huh?

I think so, as long as it's not detrimental to the Russian nation and people. According to the Italian newspapers, they have monuments in Calabria to the Russian sailors who risked their lives saving people from the rubble, even though the quakes were ongoing.

This could also be said of our own people. If it wasn't for an American school teacher at the WMCA convincing the Greeks to make him an admiral, and putting an American flag on the ships to save the people, who knows how many tens of thousands might have died on the docks of Smyrna as they were being ethnically cleansed.

American sailors were also involved later on in helping the people - but that was at a different time and place. We are not the same country.

    What we were once,
    we've ceased to be,
    for times have changed now,
    can't you see?

    The flag that once
    waved high and true
    is now all worn,
    forlorn and blue.

    It mourns for days

    when we had pride
of noble words and not of lies. - Jeannette

It's too bad that you do not understand Swedish because this song says everything. I have translated only some of it and because translating word-for-word never makes sense so I have put it into easier, American context. Monica Zettelund singing "Men Tiden Går" (But Time Goes On) Here it is:

"Heroes always came from the USA
    Germans never did anything good
Negroes did nothing but stand around saying “yes boss”
how easy everything was ... "

    "Sheriffs were so nice
and the Russians were so nasty
    to the poor FBI
The more difficult it becomes, the more you learn
    as time goes by ..."

    "John Wayne was everyone's friend
    a real man among men
    with very short hair
And redskins were like stupid sheep
but those days have gone by ... "

    "A chinnk was a gook
    really nasty and ugly
    that Americans shot at
    Bob Hope was quick-witted
but those days have gone by …. "

Not only Trump. Everyone has flaws so why add more to them. Besides that, Trump has to bow down to the hard liners if he wants to get re-elected. They own the propaganda networks.

Which vids Zoomy, the one showing the pogrom of the Crimean protestors by the Ukrainian Nazis, or the ones showing the Ukrainian Nazis taking pot shots at Russians trying to escape the fire in Odessa? I'll find them for you if you want them so badly.

What is funny is that today Tonto who was portrayed as coming from a friendly and civilized Indian tribe, (and there were many), is now being presented as a Comanche:

The 16-year-old girl’s once-beautiful face was grotesque. She had been disfigured beyond all recognition in the 18 months she had been held captive by the Comanche Indians.

‘Her head, arms and face were full of bruises and sores,’ wrote one witness, Mary Maverick. ‘And her nose was actually burnt off to the bone. Both nostrils were wide open and denuded of flesh.’

Once handed over, Matilda Lockhart broke down as she described the horrors she had endured — the rape, the relentless sexual humiliation and the way Comanche women had tortured her with fire. It wasn’t just her nose, her thin body was hideously scarred all over with burns.

Today everything in the past is looked on in a negative way; without taking the context of the times into account. How simplistic! As an example, instead of seeing Christianity as a civilizing aspect in a Europe being overrun by invaders, they see it as being the cause of the dark ages - which by the way happened because a volcano blew. There was famine, and this is what caused the turmoil in the northern hemisphere.

In the same way, America is bad because it fought with the Indians and had black slaves - who at the time were needed because whites couldn't work in the extreme heat of the Southern states. Yet the American slave owners were known to be far more humane that the British and others in the Caribbean. What I don't excuse is that they weren't edified, because if they did that meant they were human, and had to be freed.

What they ignore is the 'America, America of Elia Kazan, and whose very existence saved millions off Europeans from killing off one another to survive. They also ignore the thousands of orphanages, hospitals, and schools all over the Far East, Anatolia and Middle East that were being supported by the American people through Christian charities.

By the way, the Swedish settlers were the second and third sons left out of their parents inheritiance. The only other choice would have been to fight for the king - or some foreign king.

No....the mass riots in Kharkiv, Odessa, Dnipro in real time.

Also the approx. 3 million Ukies refugee camps in Poland.

The Odessa incident you claim with Nazis is a fake.....it was Russian thug **** disturbed trying to disrupt a police station. The locals were right in what they did?

Pogroms of Crimea? .....you're off your meds again. Sure provide some "evidence" of this pogrom....in real time, independent, from a credible source.

The only pogroms are the vatniks carrying out on the locals:)).

I mock the Russia hysteria, and don’t think reigniting the cold war with Russia is such a great idea. That being said, it’s foolish to think that Russia delivered this aid, solely based on generosity, and good will.

Okay, okay, Russia does that too with the humanitarian food and what not it sends to Syria - otherwise they might think it's coming from the Islamic crescent, the UN or the US.

    Maybe even ISIS:

Considering our sanctions, and all our forces surrounding Russia - not to mention all the demonizing and lies, Putin didn't have to offer help. Believe me, it is good will.

At a dinner honoring Nobel Prize Winners, John F. Kennedy said. " I think this is the most extraordinary collection of talent, of human knowledge, that has ever been gathered together at the White House, with the possible exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone. Someone once said that Thomas Jefferson was a gentleman of 32 who could calculate an eclipse, survey an estate, tie an artery, plan an edifice, try a cause, break a horse, and dance the minuet."

Anyone who finds substantial fault with Jefferson is a fool.

How about giving me the post and quote, because no one on the forum knows what in the damn world you're talking about. Oh well, what else have you but fairy tales.

I know deny everything, even the photo of the children tied to the tree killed by Bandera's men. Uhhh, you're forgetting Poland has a statue of the children.

Here's the video of the pogrom of pro Yanukovich protesters at Korsum. They were returning to Crimea from Kiev in 2014. The buses were stopped by the Nazis, and set on fire. They then harassed the protesters for 8 hours, and killed 7 outright. Thirty others ran away, and haven't been heard from since. I'm sure though their kidneys ended up in the German hospitals. The Ukrainian Nazis make a habit of those things.

Get on to 2:15 and see their handiwork.

That's a new one. So then the massacre wasn't paid for and organized by Kolomoisky who was the governor at the time; and they didn't go to the soccer game in Odessa from Kiev and head towards the protesters camp ground; and someone didn't tell the protesters to head for the Trade Union building to escape; and there weren't Nazis in the basement hacking them; and they weren't shooting at them from the ground; and they didn't kill children and even a pregnant cleaning woman on the second floor; and they weren't hacking the ones that jumped from the building, etc., etc.?

I guess then it was the Russians killing Russians again to make the Ukrainians look bad.
