Trump called it the China virus at a time when China was lying through their teeth about it, got WHO to play ball, and then tried to blame the virus on our military. As a current person in the military, does that bother you?

And if the phrase Chinavirus is so offensive to you, why do you keep referring to it as such rather than the C word?

I'm sorry about what happened to your wife's business, that should never happen. The same sort of stuff happened to businesses who supported Trump, some of his campaign headquarters were vandalized ]or burnt to the ground. On the issue of being targeted, the left has a long way to go until they're targeted the way Trump supporters are. Has anyone punched your wife in the face for wearing a China hat? Has Antifa descended upon her with masked faces and weapons? Are people committing hoax crimes and blaming them on your wife?

Your wife should not have to go through that crap no more than anyone else. The next time a Trump supporter is assaulted or has his business boycotted or vandalized, I hope you stand with that person and condemn the perps just as much as I condemn the people who harassed your wife. Good luck and good fortune to her. Tell her to say safe.

Not a confusion, just an unwillingness to get bogged down by some idiotic notion that a phrasing is not racist because the word used is a country instead of a technical race.

The use of the phrase China virus has led to a dramatic and significant rise of racist attacks against Asians, worldwide.

Still not seeing that reference you're talking about. Ah well.. guess you did make it all up.

Only about the Chinese. Hence... racism is there. Saying how it is. Truth hurts.

That's your opinion, and like why cares. Your opinion isn't some valid argument. lol

No more than the fake narratives that if you support Trump you are a racist has lead to an increase in attacks on Trump supporters.

That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be critical of Trump, nor should we stop calling it what it is....the china virus.

Just because you cant see the reference, doesn’t mean it isn’t there. Most reasonable people see it.

Nope, it’s not racist. It’s seeing an increased probability of getting infected and avoiding it. It’s logical.

It’s simply the truth. She failed, and its objective truth that getting people together in large groups like that increases transmission rates. Pretty horrible of Pelosi.

I've asked you this before and I don't recall getting a response: Are the Zika, Hong Kong, African, Australian, MERS, West Nile virus racist? Is the phrase white supremacy and white privilege racist?

This is a test of your character.

The two are only comparable because people who claim all trump supporters are racist are wrong as well.

The name of the virus is covid-19 and to continue calling it a China virus is inappropriate and dangerous.

I dont give two shits about my character being evaluated for racism by someone who does not believe racism is a possibility.

Nicknaming viruses is useful and appropriate. Calling it the china virus is not dangerous, it’s appropriate.

Show me the reference. Only that will make me a believer Moolk.

    You're just applying racial profiling.

We have, as a collective species, moved past naming new diseases in ways that can elicit fear or target a specific region or ethnicity. The WHO outlined in 2015 how these new diseases would be named. Call it political correctness if you'd like, the truth is that it makes sense on a global scale. You can read about the evolution of naming new diseases here:

The reference is in the timing, it doesn’t matter if you are a believer or not.

Nope, I’m assessing probability appropriately. Nothing racist about that.

Says you, but none the less the truth is she failed. She spread the virus only. Pretty horrible of Pelosi.

I knew you would not answer. I knew it. And you're trying to turn everyone into a racist over a possibility. And you're a lawyer?

There was no “evolving” past nicknaming viruses. That’s why everyone did so, including the MSM and democrats until Trump did the same thing then it became racist.

Nicknaming viruses is useful. There is nothing wrong with it, and it is certainly not to be considered “evolving” to not do so.

Is it profiling when you guys say white supremacy and white privilege, or is it just outright racist?

not without a source! And you're failing to produce one. Hence my source stands until you're able to debunk t.

She walked with the executive director of the Chinatown Community Development Center. So you know... that's representing enough. Get over it.

If they applied that same logic to the way they speak of white people they would have to face the reality its either not racist, or they are as racist as they claim others are.

That being said, if it wasn’t for double standards......

What use do you gain from calling it a China virus instead of covid-19?

Because I can document numerous individuals who have been attacked explicitly because of the racism associated with believing they are somehow responsible for the virus solely by virtue of being asian.

I just sourced it's an ethnicity.
And you can be racist vs an ethnicity. So you know... there is that.

So just to be clear- you're refusing to tell us what race is being discriminated against here...?

Be careful with your answer :) I have some fun facts for you.

I bet you'll deflect though lol

Your source is not backing up the claim you or it is making. It is a self defeating argument lol. It is inherently debunked by itself.

And no, thats not representing enough lol...the executive director is not some godlike figure representative of everyone lmao.

Odd that Asia feels differently than you. You must be a new set of rule-maker(s)
