the Holocaust definitely happened, the numbers were most likely over exaggerated to some extent, because we hated Hitler no one questioned it, but regardless the counts, many many died, and it was a horrible time in earth's history

and I agree with your second part, and that was my point exactly, the numbers are not worth fighting over, the event was evil, the numbers that died were great, that is the main thing to focus on, not the counts as yes, they were probably over exaggerated
