The Republican mayor didn't like Purple Haze painting the building purple. So the commie Republican with green hat, red star, and little red commie book demanded changes.

Still, can't convince your States to make masks, shut...

    I've seen the same article.
Linen/satin layered with cloth, layered with linen/satin again can be effective.

Also, Denim I read, will block those micron particle, but also block air.

Looks like you did not read the links I posted either. Cuomo moving thousands of Covid patients into nursing homes is on Cuomo. Cuomo not shutting down the subway system is on Cuomo. Cuomo delaying the shelter in place order is on Cuomo.

It is time to stop the “hate Trump” reflex and objectively look at how mayors and Governors in hot spots handled this.

    And Cuomo failed miserably.

I think that could be a hell of a lot smaller, and cheaper if automated by a State Owned Enterprise. And even if this thing goes away, worth each State building plant for the hell of it, pop out enough for their people should the interstate be blocked by Orange Man killer clowns from outer space. Or be like Kennesaw requiring gun ownership, except make the PAPR in State so we aren't making China richer.

Better than getting sick or ultimately dying if you're working with mold, asbestos, etc.
We should be making as many options available to people as possible. We could have better PPE for outbreaks if we manage to get COVID-19 cases down to a reasonable level. It's less disruptive than another shutdown. We could, for example, have government stockpiles of PPE we rush to hotspots.

It won't save the economy if we open businesses and few customers show up, a situation suggested by this survey.

We really need to get numbers down before enough people feel safe enough to shop, dine out, etc.

I don't live in NY and can't get rid of Cuomo, but we can make sure this guy (on the right below) is sent packing...

"Making," is the key word, right now it is China making. If we are lucky, and the next time it starts here, because we learned nothing, we can buy up their Chinese masks and lie to WHO until the Chinese masks and PAPR arrive. "People" is a another key word, that means us, not just hospital workers.

The cars and trucks are right now backed up blocking the slow lane of A1A, going to the beach. After it clears, that is after they leave, I'll go.

That’s great sentiment. But the ire should be directed at Cuomo as well.

Well that was mean and hurtful :tears:

    Ride the short bus
*A derrogatory phrase derived from the smaller school bus used to ferry special education students to and from school. 1) To act in an immature or stupid way. 2) To be an immature or stupid person. 3) To drive an especially large S.U.V.
Johnny is such a dumbass, he definitely rides the short bus*

In comparison those hundreds of 2 yard gaps are spaced a mile apart. Out of those hundreds of viruses very few will get through hence the mask is doing its job of significantly reducing the risk of infection

As was and still IS being done across the nation. I checked Florida and Illinois...and they are STILL doing so
Cuomo was well ahead of most of the nation. Almost a MONTH ahead of Florida

Ridiculous attack considering that doing so would have shut down hospitals, police, fire, garbage pick up....in a city that relies so heavily on mass transit

transferring Covid patients into nursing homes is Not being done across the nation. Please provide links to support your claim.

CA wasted no time with the shelter in place, ahead of NY. NY waited too long.

Did you ever read my links with regard to the subway transmission? The vast majority of the population in NYC is not hospital/police/fire/garbage pick up.

Reading is fundamental to understanding the mistakes that were made.

Sometimes people who don’t care about the welfare of others, are acting pretty stupid. You’re only as healthy as those you come into contact with.

    Here's Florida

    https://www.sun-sentinel.com/corona...0200513-vdpc2txp7jeztepngt3dsk3eve-story.html

Only a month ago, hospitals were eager to send elderly patients back to their long-term care facilities when they were still positive but no longer needed hospitalization. The facilities fought back, resisting re-admission until the residents were healthy and leaving the seniors caught in the middle.

    You can apologize now

Wearing a mask indeed does increase one's protection as well as shaming those who don't.

I make it a practice to give Republicans a wide berth. When I see them walking down the street with a Confederate flag in one hand and an assault rifle in the other, I automatically go into social distancing mode. I also find the swastika tattoos on their faces off-putting.

Of course I don't know where they are going, I merely observe them as we pass in traffic. I'm not conducting a survey.

But consider that any person wearing a mask has an obstructed airway, by definition.

I've done hand washing and other sanitary procedures like covering coughs and sneezes.
