Didn't read thread. First Degree Murder IMO depending on how statutes read, cop/public employee protections, etc., and no matter what occurred before the video. Outrageous.

Definitely something to be looked into. I hope they gave the officers a blood test right away. The dispassionate look on the kneeling officer makes me suspect he could have been under the influence, like he wasn't aware of what he was doing.

Pretty sure it was the bystanders asking him why didn't he just get in the car.

Yea they decided they wanted to murder the guy so they somehow convinced him to engage in a forgery crime to have it called in so they could murder him in the wide open on a public street with everyone videoing it....................:wall:

The quick way he pulled out mace when he thought the crowd might rush him seems to suggest he was level headed to understand the wrongness of his actions. Someone off camera was saying she was a fire rescue person and that she could tell the victim was really hurt/dead/unconscious and unresponsive. When they realized they'd killed him, none of these cops even look like they were thinking "whoopsie".
Maybe they were used to getting a taste of the forgery money. Or this guy was competing with their own contact. And they did this in broad daylight as they thought they could do so and get away with it. I've seen death by cop before. It looks tragic. Bad luck, need for more training. Accidents. This was different.

This isn't like the Garner case where the back of the hand of an officer doing a lawful by the book take down slipped off the shoulder to the neck for mere seconds. I wish we had a video from across the street where we could see what the other two officers were doing for that 7 minutes. I'm hearing they had on body cams.

Let's just stick with what we know and not make up things and then treat them as probable facts.

I am certainly not going to pull a cowardly Bernie Sanders.

His answer should disqualify him from public office. He didn’t dare stand up to racist BLM.

I have been quite clear that these officers and in particular the one with the knee to the neck are in big trouble at this point. But they weren't just riding down the street and spotted Floyd and jumped out and attacked him. They even had him under control by the wall, got him and walking towards the car to take him and book him and then when they got to the care instead of getting and taken to jail peacefully he resisted arrest which ramped up the violence. HE is responsible for that for what we know, even the bystanders were admonishing him for resisting the arrest. That's what always happens in these cases, the fact that he was committing a crime and resisted the arrest and that resistance led to his death. He will be made out to be a hero to be admired which is wrong. Yes it appears the officers were wrong and he should be alive other than their actions once he was on the ground. But let's not make Floyd out to be someone young blacks should admire and emulate and that they have a right to resist arrest.

Typical of what? I've never conversed with you before. And all I was doing was engaging in civil conversation. Silly of me to think you would be capable of doing the same, simply because I did not agree with your agenda. Typical is correct, of you I guess.....

Maybe that cops should've considered that BEFORE they killed him and made him a martyr.....

Can you show me a white guy that has been murdered by police in the manner of Eric Garner or George Floyd.

I have no obligation to do so and reject your painting Garner as a murder anyway.
