My guess it is not the "bad" cops that are leaving, it is comprised of cops who have come to the conclusion that they can no longer do their job without risk of getting into a situation where they could possibly ruin their lives and that of their loved ones leaving them with the decision to stop the crime or look the other way because the perpetrator is black. Hopefully, if you ever call 911 you will get along with the social worker that rides their bicycle to your aid.
Sad but true. I did a four shift at a shooting range last night and we had five new customers that were first-time gun owners and sought training because they were scared.
They get arrested for breach of the peace. Prosecutors bring the charges up and the courts decides if he's guilty of breaking the law, not the cops.
Since we're able to figure this out, and we're not especially clever (at least I'm not!) .. it follows that those driving this thing are doing it deliberately, to that end. Even if it's purely accidental (how so many adults could be that idiotic, is anyone's guess), what it says about those pushing it is very very ugly. It means they ascribe no agency or autonomy of thought or action to the 'victims', instead indulging the obnoxious fantasy that everyone will magically become good - aka white - citizens. It's bloody repulsive, either way.
With respect, it's incredibly naive to think any policing can be done without profiling. You would literally need to have one cop per citizen, weighing up all the influences on that citizen's character and behaviour. Cops are vastly outnumbered by the citizens they're trying to protect. The ONLY thing which can be generally relied upon against those odds, is likelihoods. Take that off them and they would be close to useless.
That's good that they asked. I shot on and off for years, started young and then took about a decade off before starting back. After buying two new firearms I asked around for a seasoned guy to walk me through disassembly and maybe meet at the range because after such a long break I had developed a flinch. Anyway, my trainer was amazing. Spotted issues immediately and I ended up doing several sessions. Best money ever spent. It's been some time, I wonder if hes still around, hed probably find more bad habits that I've fallen back into.
It's known that white people and black people do and sell drugs about equally as much. Yet black people get predominantly arrested over this. And that's due that the black people get stopped and searched far more often. And the predominantly white police force simply is accountable for their behavior.... and it's racist. It can not be that just "a few bad apples" do this. The difference is massive. You should look it up to know what we're talking about. Your idea that cops are trying to protect is also not correct. the cops serve the public as public servants. And they predominantly white police force are serving the white population far and far more lenient.
No it's not, black people kill one another at a far greater rate, hence the police target them. That's why crack was such a bigger deal than powder cocaine, people weren't killing one another over it. Police go where the crime is. If they're so racist why don't they target the Jewish, Asian and Oriental American communities?
We will end up with Politically Correct 'police' in the big cities. The Black areas will be 'policed' very very lightly. Not to worry! There are plenty of young men with guns in those areas, who will emerge to fill the power vacuum. Expect some carnage for awhile, while they determine who has the monopoly of armed force in each area. We've seem how this works in Mexico. If the Democrats win big in November, expect a serious attempt to disarm patriots. So get your AR15 now, plus 2000 rounds of ammunition, a dozen magazines, and a Level 3 vest. This will cost between one and two-thousand dollars, but it's the best investment you can make against what's coming. Then go to MyMilitia.com and find a militia group near you. It's such a shame ... the end of the US as a liberal-democratic powerhouse of democracy. People in Europe who are looking at what is happening to America with ill-concealed schadenfreude, are going to regret our passing. But nothing is forever, and if we can avoid WWIII, the principles upon which America was founded will rise again among the people of the new dominant power.
Are you sure that it's the color of skin and not culture? Those two things can be hard to distinguish. I watched a study of traffic violations. They automated a radar/camera system that took speed and a picture of every car for some length of time. When reviewing the data, black drivers were more than twice as likely to be speeding. That had nothing to do with racist actions of the camera but rather the actual actions of the people.
You only are looking at people who were caught. And I sourced all over this forum that white and black people deal and use about equal amounts of drugs, yet black people get predominantly caught. So the predominantly white police force is ignoring what white people do a lot and concentrating on the crimes of black people. It just is. It's systematic in the US, nation wide.
I am rather sure that that the US has a sparkling history of utter racism where the apartheid rule only legally ended 25 years after WWII ended. The current president himself -if he wasn't such a cowardly draft dodger- would have personally enjoyed apartheid rule in the US army. He was raised up in that culture. And you don't lose that culture because some person signed a law.
Don't know about you, but when I was drafted for the Vietnam War, I was immediately, from the first second, under the authority of a black man, and I snapped to and followed every order and instruction he uttered. I instinctively knew he was an experienced and highly skilled soldier whom I should follow and obey. He commanded fear and respect, exactly as he should have. Great man. I kinda doubt he thought there was any apartheid going on being that he had risen very fast in the enlisted ranks. Most likely he retired young at E-9, if he didn't bootstrap to officer, and has led a very prosperous life. He damn sure earned it.
A) you didn't answer the question B) The president, nor his status during the VN war has absolutely nothing to do with the current situation unless you also believe Obama was the reason for the Ferguson riots or the Rodney King riots. C) I don't know what culture the president was raised in but I'm pretty sure that it wasn't the culture of the racist southern democrats of the 60s. D) If it's Trump's job to lose the racist culture that you believe him to be stuck in, why can't the current black population lose the culture that they have been brought up into?
The KKK marched around and burned crosses in Vietnam when MLK was killed. But I guessed you missed that.
you're not responding to the racism that was legally present till the mid 1960's. It's all part of the Arian and Jewish cultural heritage that doesn't just vanish when somebody puts a signature on a piece of paper. you mean that president who tweeted about the so called "radical left" while he praised a vid where GOP voter yells white power? lol
