Crank, have a nice day. Practice social distancing. Wear a mask when out in public. Wash your hands frequently.
    Bye.

Sure racism exists (after all, I'm on the other side of it and know exactly what some POC think and say about white folk). But that racism doesn't stop people getting ahead if that's what they aim to do. CLEARLY, since non-whites are now at the head of the leader board in America.

He/she is quite delusional thinking whites in the US are 2nd tier citizens. You’re better off not wasting more of your time

That isn't true. I used to know a young Nigerian man who was attending college in the USA.
He was amazed at the bigotry and prejudice he saw in this country. He once asked me "How can you Black Americans stand to be treated so ugly"? I told him, "We're used to it".

Goodness, now you've really embarrassed yourself!

Check your stats. NON-WHITES have been at the top of your socio-economic tree for a while now.

In the US? Really? So you think blacks are higher socio-economically than whites? Do tell. Keep in mind the issue going on in the US is racism towards black so no moving the goalposts.

Your perspective of US history is simpleminded, lacking any sophistication. Black Africans captured their own people and then sold them to Americans. There were both white and black slaveholders in America. (1) There were also whites who never owned slaves, and black freemen who never owned slaves either. White people ended slavery. The majority of the whites who died in the Civil War were middle-class, working-class, and poor whites, since the government provided avenues for rich whites to not have to fight. (2) Rich whites did not have to abide by the draft. They left the middle-class, working-class, and poor whites to do the fighting. The Civil War, in a way, is like affirmative action: the middle-class, working-class, and poor whites have to deal with the albatross of war, while the rich whites get a pass. And the same theme continues today.

Is this your way of dealing with the embarrassment of not knowing about those statistics?

No, we're also talking about white privilege. Asian-Americans earn more than whites, which undermines the concept of white privilege. That's the point.

Yes, the same theme continues today---on that we can agree.
When you have time, please go read my thread in the Race Relations section. The title of the thread is "The Purpose of Racism".
    It's very interesting.

So you agree that middle-class, working-class, and poor whites should be under the albatross of affirmative action, and rich whites don't have to be?

I said - quite clearly - that WHITES are second tier.

You really need to make peace with that reality.

Question: Which idea do most Whites hate the most: Reparations for Slavery or Affirmative Action?
It seems like both ideas make them very angry.

It is a program that is designed to discriminate against people of my skin color. That is an albatross.

I once went to a White Supremacist message board just to easedrop on their conversations. There was one man there who said this country made a horrible mistake when they passed the 1964 Civil Rights Act and the 1965 Voting Rights Act.
I guess that's how some folks feel about Affirmative Action.
