It's as anti-american as anti-american can be. Democracy is a core American value, and Trump is countering it with all deliberate force and speed.

IN my view, it is an impeachable act, but fat chance of that with an invertebrate republican senate.

 

What does it matter if he said it? He wants to do it, and the reason is obvious.

 

My understanding is that it is illegal for private companies to deliver mail in cities in the US as this is the USPS’ largest source of revenue and the USPS says this is necessary to subsidize the delivery of mail in rural areas.

Does anyone know if this is true or if it is still necessary in the internet age?

 

He admitted to waiting for a plan by the states to handle the election. A plan that looks like absentee ballots sent to people who respond to a request for a ballot will be looked on favorably. Federal Judge in Pa. has just ordered the Trump campaign and RNC to supply the court PROOF of outrageous Mail In ballot voter fraud they claim took place during the recently completed Pa. primary..He has given them until Friday 8-14-2020 to supply the proof. The Judge J. Nicholas Ranjan is a Trump appointee.

I’ve voted in a lot of districts in the US and I’ve never spent more than 15 or 20 minutes in a queue.

To reduce the number of Democrat voters

Democrat voters believe in science, and thus are frightened of dying from COVID. Republicans believe in Trump over everything and since he has said COVID is a hoax they are less afraid. Thus 50% of Dems say they will use mail-in voting whereas only 20% of Republicans say they will. Trump is desperate to stop mail-in voting and has done several things to attack it.
