    Actually, the kid can really sing. That high note was downright spooky from a guy.

    You have to give him credit for even trying because she has an outstanding voice. He did really well.

    This is the first song I listened to from this guy. I got goosebumps listening to the staccato part. This guy has a stunning voice.

    I first heard his work over the CBC back about 1985 or so, and his now-famous "Christmas in the Trenches," which is not on-topic here about the dulcimer --- but it absolutely tore my heart out as a Vietnam veteran. I've heard him do this live and teared-up by the end.

    That song hits your heart hard. @Crownline posted something similar in the bar and it was a grab a tissue moment when I was listening. Things could be so easy, if people would just take it easy.

    Tim Grimm opened for Ramblin' Jack Elliot a few years back in Ann Arbor, and I had an hour's talk with them about how life changed after Jack wrote or performed songs Dylan and the Byrds made popular...and how Tim had just won awards on his own, for a song as prescient as this.....
