The gun was ON THE GROUND when the KILLER cop MURDERED the victim.

When the shots were fired you can see BOTH HANDS in the air and there is NO GUN in either of them.

 

Why would he need x-ray vision to see the gun drop if it did in fact drop? You're not denying that the cop would have seen the gun behind the guy's back are you?

I am a former LEO and I have been in life-or-death situations. You are correct in saying that it is a very hard job to do and MOST people cannot understand how things happen so quickly. However, I do and I believe the shooting officer responded in error. I didn't see the suspect do anything except lower himself and his weapon to the ground. I am NOT saying the officer acted with malice, but I believe he made an error in judgment.

I understand why LEOs protect one another (even when they know the officer was wrong) but it's that kind of blind loyalty that leads many rogue cops (and, I'm not suggesting these cops were) to feel "untouchable" that nobody will question anything even with a trail of bodies in their wake.

Is that a society you want to live in?
Where you want your family to live?
Where people are terrified of the very people that are supposed to serve and protect (and not just one another)?

I certainly don't.

 

So if the officer could see the gun behind the guy's back, wouldn't he have been able to see him DROP it if he did in fact drop it?

I've watched it from both angles several times. We've had this same conversation several times. We don't agree on what happened. I don't have blind loyalty to other people so I can believe that something is wrong in a specific instance without hating ALL people involved until the end of time. I think the officer was wrong and someone paid with his life for that mistake.

 

The VICTIM'S body is ANGLED towards putting the gun on the ground is CLEARLY VISIBLE prior to him being MURDERED by the KILLER cop.
