    I love how you're pointing out what you perceive to be liberal hypocrisy but are blatantly ignoring conservative hypocrisy. Dems would have no right to complain today had Garland gotten the hearing he deserved. He didn't because McConnell made up a rule. And he's ignoring that rule that that it is no longer politically convenient.

    Trump's incompetence in dealing with Russia, and his long list of failed staff appointments, suggests he's unlikely to make a good choice for Justice. His last choice was particularly bad.

    McConnell just says whatever the political winds let him get away with. It doesn't matter. Unless its part of the Constitution or US Code that Trump cant nom during an election year, then Trump can nom during an election year.
