Thursday Kickoff. KC vs Texans. KC is allowing fans (22% capacity) with Masks Mandatory. https://bleacherreport.com/articles...owhead-stadium-at-22-capacity-masks-mandatory This should be interesting, having the camera pan the crowd to assess his many aren't wearing their masks (to drink beer, etc.). Anyway, as far as the season goes, who do you like? Chiefs to repeat? Niners? TB12 on TB? https://www.espn.com/chalk/story/_/id/28919033/super-bowl-odds-unders-more-all-32-nfl-teams. Discuss NFL 2020.
I don't see any team beating Seattle in the playoffs this year. I predict a Seattle SB win for this season. They are loaded. This coming from someone who can't stand Seattle. The stats per player outmatch every other team.
I might peek in on Thursday. If it's going to be a social justice broadcast then I will turn it off, had enough of that already.
I think the really BIG thing is going to revolve around how the crowd is socially-distanced, and how many people are wearing masks. https://www.wibw.com/2020/09/08/changes-for-fans-on-game-day-at-arrowhead-stadium/
CNN posted the time of the actual kickoff so no one has to watch the nancy boys do their kneeling lol. They soon deleted it on twitter. I personally don't care about the kneeling bone heads. I just want to watch them hurt each other for my amusement
Damn, posted on Tuesday and I'm post #11? Seems not many care about the NFL, rightfully so. Sympathy bump.
Going to be a very interesting game with Cam and the Patriots this weekend. The Raiders are 2-0 coming off the big win on MNF. The Pats are coming off a narrow loss (that came down to the last play). Going to be a good battle of wannabe contenders. At NE (Pats - 5.5)
That's a very generous line, IMO. After seeing the pats secondary get absolutely TORCHED last sunday night, I'm worried about our D. Cam did everything in his power to win that game with our D+ wide receiver core and we lost because our D just crapped the bed.
Thing is though, Cam seems to be returning to Classic Form. And, I could easily see the Pats covering the number.
Also to add, the 49ers lost 4 key players last week. Their best out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL. They tried to blame the turf but inspectors proved that the turf met every expectation (and more). The 49ers need to regroup now. Interesting thing is, they are playing on that same field again this week. Let's see what happens.
Cam isn't what I'm worried about. If you watched the game which I'm sure you did, our defense was absolutely trash with the single exception of that pick 6. They better fix this crap because I will be very disappointed if Gilmore and the Safeties get burnt again.
Losing Bosa is unfathomable. As well as the other injuries. Hard to imagine them getting back to the SB.
Great points. Still, I think the Raiders overperformed on MNF. That said, if Vegas is going to have a chance, they need another career performance out of Waller.
I don't think they have the talent to get back to the SB again anyway this year. They got lucky as hell last year in 5 of those games. Their record should have been a lot worse. They had great chemistry but they weren't as good as they appeared. My NFC predictions for the SB (that I made before the season): 1. Seahawks 2. Saints 3. Green Bay AFC: 1. Chiefs 2. Steelers (I know, most people disagree but I think they have a shot) 3. Pats (from Cam and the coaching staff. Not saying we have the best team but we are used to this pressure) Ravens are overrated.
Yeah. I am with the Chiefs to repeat in the AFC. I also like Seattle. The Saints are looking shaky. Brees showed some serious signs of decline on MNF.
Brees, much like Brady, Rodgers...etc has shaky games. Especially when his O line kept getting hurt. No one expects a perfect season from any of these teams. That run game for the saints is SCARY good and it'll get better as the season goes on. Brees is in a tough division though so I put them on a 10 or 11 win season but the post season is a new season. I think Green bay (much like the Pats) will make a trade for another WR. Rodgers is one receiver away from a complete offense. Adams can't carry them the whole season.
