    When you do not reside in the state and know you cannot legally own one in your home state and go to venue where you know there is going to be trouble with a loaded weapon YOU ARE LOOKING FOR TROUBLE, EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO START IT!!!!

    When he called his buddy after shooting the first guy he was all happy and excited about just taking someone's life, he needs serious mental help.

    Just curious, did you follow the George Zimmerman case in Florida at all? Did you make any pre-trial predictions in that case?

    Actually the guy who kicked Rittenhouse after he fell should be the one facing murder charges. He committed a violent felony and someone died during the commission of it.

    Who said he didn't know the area? He worked there. I do believe he lived closer or same distance from Kenosha of at least one of the dead attackers.

    It's weird how that guy never came forward.

    Must be a sketchy character with a shady record, otherwise you'd think he'd come forward to claim his oppression Olympics gold medal.

    He spent the day cleaning graffiti off the high school in Kenosha, then was attacked for bringing a fire extinguisher to the BLM dumpster fire.

    Antifa and blm bus people from all over the country into neighborhoods they don't know and many of them are armed with some sort of weapon. I never heard the left complain about that.

    Anyway, if I saw a guy armed with a rifle in my neighborhood and I thought he was up to no good, the last thing I'd do it instigate violence with him. Not only is that common sense and suicide avoidance, but it's the exact same argument the left makes when they try to defend their attacks on innocent, non-rioting people - they were instigated.

    Did the crime happen in Indiana?

    If no, what does a trial from 2017 in Indiana have to do with this?

    Under WI § 939.48(1m)(b) he loses the automatic protections of castle doctrine law meaning he will have to prove that his actions did not escalate or enflame the situation. Which he cannot do.

    Even if he is cleared of the first two, which is likely, the third shot against will catch up to him according to legal analysis I have seen as that person wasn’t attempting to take the rifle from him.

    I wasn't making the argument that he was virtuous(although he was), I was demonstrating that he was indeed familiar with the neighborhood, despite claims to the contrary.

    Did anybody actually ever expect him to be charged in Illinois?:bored:

    Rittenhouse is charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the killing of two protesters and attempted intentional homicide in the wounding of a third. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of underage firearm possession for wielding a semi-automatic rifle in Wisconsin.

    You still don’t understand what self defense means. If a person is beating you with a skateboard, you can shoot back. If a person is shooting at you, you can return fire. There is no evidence Kyle shot first. There is plenty of proof he was retreating.

    No he didn't. He shot 3 people who were chasing after and attacking him. Are you suggesting he should allowed them to do what they wanted, including the man who raised a gun at him?

    Please show proof of intent instead of asserting your own conclusion. Was he or was he not chased and attacked? When did he fire the first shot and why? Why is his presence in the area condemned but not the rioters who attacked him?
