In fact, every American President since LBJ has been supporting the build up with China. Trump is the first President to defy China - hence much of the rabid irrational hostility to his presidency.
More common election cycle political slander. "It's the first time Trump has topped the list alone, ending a 12-year run by his predecessor, Barack Obama, with whom he tied for most admired in 2019. For Michelle Obama, it's her third straight year as the most admired woman in America." CNN, Gallup 2020 most admired: Donald Trump and Michelle Obama top lists By Chandelis Duster, 12/29/20. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...rump-and-michelle-obama-top-lists/ar-BB1ck2E1
Elections cannot be rigged without the support of crooked election officials and workers and the corrupt bipartisan ruling political class they serve and protect.
The point is, there was a real dilemma, but you want to discount it because it undermines your partisan point.
Sure, no one could have thought to put security cameras in that could project to a large screen or Zoom. Anyone in the US could have been poll watchers from their house. But it's better to create a sense of secrecy?
I agree with Daniel .. Both Red and Blue stink like .. <something that rhymes with goo> That so may think our leaders should be more like Trump - is sad commentary on how low the bar is fallen. That being as it is however .. Trump seems not so bad by comparison - at least on the surface - which is all the average voter is considering. Folks don't actually know why they vote these days - most do not know what voting means . 12 years of school and we manage not to teach the basics .. the Founding Principles and how this fit's into a constitutional republic. We also manage not to teach the basics of Philosophical thought - Logic - Logical Fallacy - what constitutes a valid argument - critical thinking. And we are talking "The basic's" here .. not Kant and Hume. Without these basic tools - how is the average voter supposed to wade through the cacophony of fallacy and bad argument raining down on a daily basis from Politicians and the MSM. and without this ability - there is no such thing as a functional democratic process.
I have no partisan point. I am not a partisan. I said what I meant and meant what I said. It is against state election laws to prevent monitors from doing their job. It is illegal. You probably think that is partisan as well.
You said "If the poll workers worked in proximity to each other why couldn't a couple of monitors? The reason is that they didn't want the monitors to monitor. The safety of poll workers is a straw man." You make an unfounded assumption to support your viewpoint. To me that is partisan, but whatever you call it, it's unjustified.
Doesn't sound like you're a "Independent" to me. Sounds like you are a devoted member of Trump's Authoritarian Cult. That indeed is where the GOP is, today. They used to be an American party. Now they are an Anti-American, Authoritarian, party-before-county Faction. The Founders are rolling in their graves.
It is an opinion just like yours. If opinions become unjustified there will be resounding consequences. I said what I meant and meant what I said. Partisan means relating to a political party. I don't even think political parties should exist. I don't even vote. If you want to call my comments conservative, then you will be correct.
OK fine, but there's a big difference between saying "The reason is..." and "I believe the reason is...". It's not just semantics.
I'm an Independent. I voted for Trump. I also voted for Obama in 2008. Now do you have something worthwhile to say, or are you hung up on trying to make things personal when you lack a supportable argument?
First of all. Since Rasmussen made no pretense whatsoever of their poltical partisanship in recent statements, and they have always been laughed off the stage as the routine right wing outlier poll, promoted to give the bloggers, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to trust or believe these numbers.
Yes, the "institutionalists", like Barr and Comey, who cover up the corruption within our institutions are undermining the very institutions they are trying to protect at the sacrifice of their own integrity. These are very foolish people.
I humbly accept your deepest regrets. I try to be precise with these kind of things because misunderstandings so easily arise. Bare text is a pretty terrible medium for clearly understanding someone's viewpoint.
So riddle me this???? 72% of republicans are standing behind a party that as of 2020 has no platform?????..........Hollywood could never sell what has happened in 5 years..... Let the clown show begin!!!!....lol....what twits!
What is there to debate? I take it personally, when an Authoritarian Demagogue tries subvert and overthrow our democracy. I don't know how an American worth the name can think otherwise.
Sigh. It was always going to fraudulent if Trump won. He started germinating the fraudulent seeds many months ahead of time, just in case he lost. By the time he lost, it was already a foregone conclusion that it was fraudulent. Each state gets to determine how it chooses electors. It's 100% a state's rights issue. If you are unhappy with the way your state chooses its' electors, move to a state you approve of. Otherwise, stay out of their business and how they decide. Proof or it didn't happen. I can scream that you murdered someone every day. If there's no body, and no missing person, I have nothing but words that I hope someone will believe. In the case of Jim Jones, errr Trump, he has millions of people drinking fraud koolaid from his teat. This is just tainted koolaid. Nothing more.
