Premise here assumes there would even be a future for the Republican party. Because they literally threw away the Presidency over COVID denial and now they're flirting with handing over control of the Senate over $2k checks. If that happens we likely get PR and DC as states, we likely get court packing, we likely get open boarders, so what chance in hell would Republicans have of regaining a majority in federal government for generations to come? But haha, ya by all means hand the "future" to the guy who single-handedly invented the COVID-denial movement that obliterated his chances of a second term.

I wouldn’t mind seeing both Nikki and Ben run in the primaries, and whichever one wins, take the other as their running mate.

The Democrats would then be opposing a politically experienced woman of Indian descent and a conservative black man who was a brain surgeon and former cabinet secretary. I think that would be a very strong ticket.

Interesting, because all I heard was talk of those subjects, but no actions and/or results. I guess the Kool Aid has that effect on Trump fans.

When push comes to shove, trump didn't accomplish anything meaningful.

No wall and what little wall was replaced was not paid for by Mexico.
No repeal and replace of the ACA.
A temporary tax relief for lower class Americans, while the 1% received a great tax reduction.

He mostly was a failure. I did hear he parred a whole while golfing over the last 4 yrs most every weekend.

He completely mishandled the pandemic. And divided the country over it. When this was a perfect opportunity to bring Americans together under a common cause/enemy.

We need an outsider. But we need one that is human and cares for people.

    Very true and very scary.

If he wasn't such a narcissist, he would have won. But his ego wouldn't let him handle the pandemic. It was larger than him.
And all he had to do was let the experts run the show, but again ego wouldn't let him.

A lot of leaders in the Republican Party aren't going to like that.

I will agree that narcissm/ego may have played a small part in why he didn't win. But that was only a small factor among many.

Oh please, it's ridiculous and even disingenuous to blame him for that.

State governors were largely running the show.

Wi likely has one of the strictest voting ID laws in the country. trump still lost.

But we can address any and all fraud issues, just present them with some evidence. Can't fix what isn't proven.

Quite the outrageous assertion there. Having had three wives, and a one night affair with a woman of dubious reputation (who probably basically prostituted herself), doesn't automatically make him a womanizer.

Voter suppression. It's what R's need to do to win.
If they can't suppress, it's called fraud.

    What's his policy on immirgration?
Some of his companies got caught with illegals in their employ. They got fired, not deported.

His policy, behind the scene, is the economy needs their employment or certain industries will not be able to stay viable.
    Both parties know this.
Reform of the immigration system needs to make it easier to come in and work. And seek citizenship if desired.

"Voter supression" is code language for "secure election protocols to prevent fraud".

Making voting "easy" coincidentally just also happens to be the same thing that makes fraudulent voting easy.

Really? Having paid sex with a porn star while your wife is at home pregnant sure seems to fit the definition of a womanizer.

There really is no difference between the 2 parties when it comes to spending.
    Tax and spend dems.
    Borrow and spend repubs.
No party is fiscal. Never has been. Just for show only.

We the voters can impose term limits every election cycle. Vote out each and every incumbent. 1 term, forever. That's it.
trump was a dem most of his life. Anyone thinking he really was a republican was fooling themselves. He knew all the buzzwords to get people to think he was. But as can be seen by his spending, he's not. He even put in more gun restrictions than obama did.
trump is 1st and foremost a narcissist. trump does things that only benefit trump. But that is true of most politicians.

How is it, congress has a 15% approval rating, but a 90% reelection rate? We the voters are stupid.

You think trump cares about a party or even the country? How sweet.
You know he's a narcissist of the 1st degree. Only 1 thing is important to trump.

Thought’s? There aren’t enough Republicans in the country to succeed. See Biden’s win.

Please give the issues with the election with proof.
Until someone, anyone can give an issue and back it up with proof, there's nothing to fix.

It was the factor for me.
And it was that narcissism that led to his abject failure of the pandemic response. He could not let another run the show or be in charge.
