So this is why Twitter shut down Trump's tweets.
    https://blog.twitter.com/en_us/topics/company/2020/suspension.html

Not attending means you are free to commit violence.
American Patriot mean person who commits violence
Giant Voice means that some kind of crap. You can read it.

I've always hated the stupid tweets from Trump. With that said, I don't agree that Twitter should make up it's own code for what people mean. It's shameful really. It's a good way to shut down free speech though. I wonder who their next target will be.
    • President Trump’s statement that he will not be attending the Inauguration is being received by a number of his supporters as further confirmation that the election was not legitimate and is seen as him disavowing his previous claim made via two Tweets (1, 2) by his Deputy Chief of Staff, Dan Scavino, that there would be an “orderly transition” on January 20th.
    • The second Tweet may also serve as encouragement to those potentially considering violent acts that the Inauguration would be a “safe” target, as he will not be attending.
    • The use of the words “American Patriots” to describe some of his supporters is also being interpreted as support for those committing violent acts at the US Capitol.
    • The mention of his supporters having a “GIANT VOICE long into the future” and that “They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form!!!” is being interpreted as further indication that President Trump does not plan to facilitate an “orderly transition” and instead that he plans to continue to support, empower, and shield those who believe he won the election.

Their platform. Their rules. He is free to host his own site to talk about whatever he wants.

Clearly, they intend to shut down and censor all conservatives. So, if conservatives will only be able to speak to each other in rooms, behind closed doors, what does that mean? It means only the ones who are more prone to action will be "discussing." And no one will see the violence coming. And there will be no evidence for afterward. Has big tech and the Dems really thought this through?

The real reason is to silence opposition. How you on the Left so easily accept being duped is amazing to me... but it just keeps happening.

BLM / ANTIFA Rioters used it for far more deaths, destruction, and assaults on other Citizens by a mile. In fact, you can't really point to what Trump said, without you putting in your own inference as to the meaning, that calls for any riot. However, I can share a speech from that day (prior to riots) where he calls for the opposite.

He then tweeted while the riots were happening, "you have to go home now. We have to have peace, we have to have law and order."

For someone calling for a riot and insurrection, he's really bad at it.

Not really. Parlor has been destroyed and has been removed from the internet. This is a complete attack on opposing views by the Authoritarian Left.

Do you REALLY think there are rooms behind closed doors that our intelligence and LE groups can't and won't be monitoring??

The information was out there prior to Jan. 6th and law enforcement still wasn't prepared. There will always be underground "groups" talking trash and planning something. How can that be regulated if a site owner decides to host a place for it?

"Big Tech" is not a publisher... If you want to name specific companies, go for it, but don't hide behind that nonsense...

I said that they shouldn't. I didn't say that they couldn't. Tell me again why was the baker had to make a cake for a gay wedding?

Free speech means those with money and power don't think you will say something they oppose. Quotes by our Founding Fathers will be replaced with quoted from our Funded Fathers "I disapprove of what you may say, but will fight to the last dollar to deny your right to say it"

How is TWITTER different from PARLOR? I specifically mentioned both in the post if you actually read and comprehended the meme included.

Not my job to comprehend your crappy memes, so I suggest you find/create better ones...

Answer the question..... Who is the "BIG TECH" banning Parlor?

Can you or is everything just "BIG TECH" to you?

Is that an admittance that ''conservatives'' are planning further violence?

Yes, but the investigative agencies look at social media, and I would presume thwart many plans. Now they won't be able to do that.

Twitter also has right to close accounts that promote jihad terrorism. All Trump had to do was act like an adult, something he failed miserably.

Following what? Twitter/Trump is the subject of this completely duplicate thread... You're the one who decided to spin it out to some 4th rate social media site...

But that wasn't so hard, was it?

Seems that Big Tech missed the entire point of the old saying, "Always keep your friends close and your enemies closer." Driving your enemies away to "talk amongst themselves" can potentially result in a negative outcome. Better to keep them close where you can keep an eye on them.

That was not a free speech issue. It was an issue of illegally refusing service to a minority group.
No one forced them to write a pro gay marriage message on the cake and no one stopped them voicing their unhappiness about having to comply with the law.

Trump is the only one who empowered Twitter.
He could shut them up a long time ago by simply leaving the platform.
Same could be said about Facebook.

If he wanted to stay in touch with his base without the use of Facebook or Twitter - there are many workarounds, like he could build his own microblogging platform just for himself that allows registered users to comment. He could also create a website that offers RSS feeds to his base - users would be able to use numerous tools available online to read the RSS feed and deliver updates to their smartphones or PCs.

Reminds me a story from USSR my relative told me - when she was young there she had a Jewish classmate. That classmate was constantly picked on for being a Jew. One day he just stood up to everyone and said - yes I’m a Jew, and I’m proud of it. By taking the ownership of the situation he literally took the power away from those who were putting him down.
Trump could have done the same thing - the first time Twitter or Facebook put a note to his tweet or status update he could have just deleted his profiles on those platforms and switched to something else. Instead, he just continues to cry about the social media, which triggers his opponents to pick on him even more.

There is no "free" speech, when that speech is meant to incite.

It doesnt matter what you and I think he "means" by his tweets, many others made these exact interpretations when he said that people should come march on Washington. There are 5 people dead because of it, and just because the coup failed, does not in any way deter from the fact that it WAS a coup attempt.

Completely. They were jumping with glee as soon as they saw people break into the capital because it opened up the floodgates to clamp down on any opposition. Rules for radicals 101. Don’t let an event like that go to waste. Fascistic total control over information is exactly what they want, like our friends in China. It’s all out in the open now. They’re not even being apologetic anymore:)
