There are many countries in Europe which contribute money, resources and staff to provide protection for western interests. The "impressive" US foreign policy ATTEMPTED to solve problems east of Europe but in fact didn't make much difference. US allies just cut the USA out of the Iran talks and carried on with their on solutions. North Korea was a joke done to impress their own populations and was nothing more than entertainment of an evening's TV, and NK just carried on as if nothing had happened and the trade policies of Europe are not generated by the USA. They are generated by the EU.
