Its the homeowners fault for not leaving their valuables outside where the thief can safely take them!

Actually, RPGs are legal under the 2nd Amendment as are tanks. You need a class III tax stamp. The same stamp that is needed to own an AK-47 which the kid was using to shoot at police. So you just initiated a 5 page argument about nothing. Google is your friend.

Well, I'm the UK - I lean to the left and I do not understand the gun culture in the US, or the need to own so many weapons.

But I'm baffled by some people saying this is the homeowners fault for having his legal property in his own residence is somehow to blame?

I have a very sharp set of kitchen knives at home, hung in the kitchen. I have a stihl saw and chainsaw hung in my garage - and my doors are always locked... If this was in US and someone broke in and used them to attack someone, would I be responsible?

No, you would not be responsible but you would be blamed by Democrats.

All we need is for you to show us how to get the guns from the criminals and solve the problem.

Why do you think that the Latin American countries have such a huge murder problem? I have my theory but I want to hear yours.

Who's to say they don't break into a safe secure safe, and then steal the guns? The law abiding citizen wasn't to blame for this tragedy, it was the stupid kids playing stupid games and getting stupid prizes. Darwinism won again.

Why do people keep responding to my posts with this? Please show me where I indicated blame? Did you miss my concluding point? Here, again:

    Who's to blame is irrelevant.

The kids are of course responsible for breaking into the house and taking the guns. I don't see anyone here saying anything different. If the guns were in the driveway, and the kids took them, they would still be responsible for taking the guns. Now, if you can't see the difference between leaving your guns in the driveway and putting them in a safe then I don't know what to tell you.

Nobody has died. The girl is stabilized in the hospital and the boy is in custody.

You seem to be missing the part about segregation. It's the same concept behind racism, sexism, discrimination against handicapped people, people with different sexual preferences, etc.. In a nutshell, when any person within any of these subgroups does anything crazy, they are representative of that subgroup with no further analysis.

For the 2As, this should only be analyzed within the context that these were troubled youth who made bad decisions. The access to weapons and ammunition don't come into play.

As you know, correlation does not prove causation.
As we all know, you cannot demonstrate the necessary relationship between legal gun ownership rates and gun-related violence rates.
And thus, and as always, you can only support your position with a post hoc fallacy.

The murders are always very high in Chicago, but you are correct they have dropped down to 28th per capita.
But fun fact with the highest murder rate per city..

    https://www.cbsnews.com/pictures/murder-map-deadliest-u-s-cities/21/

    1. St. Louis, Missouri - Democratic Mayor
    2. Baltimore, Maryland - Democratic Mayor
    3. Birmingham, Alabama - Democratic Mayor
    4. Detroit, Michigan - Democratic Mayor
    5. Dayton, Ohio - Democratic Mayor
    6. Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Democratic Mayor
    7. New Orleans, Louisiana - Democratic Mayor
    8. Kansas City, Missouri - Democratic Mayor
    9. Memphis, Tennessee - Democratic Mayor
    10. Cleveland, Ohio - Democratic Mayor

in fact of the top 30 deadliest cities in the US only 2 have Republican Mayors

Maybe instead of having a "common sense gun laws" debate we should be having a "common sense political party" debate.

No more talk about banning guns.. maybe we should be banning Democrats?

On the planet where you live, is there as much risk of drowning for someone who has a pool and someone who doesn't?

Thank you for the confirmation that you know you cannot demonstrate the necessary relationship between legal gun ownership rates and gun-related violence rates.

Chained to an unmovable post (not gonna go into details). Weight is irrelevant. And even if someone cut the chain and took the little safe, it only opens to my fingerprint ... you guess which finger (heh heh). The thief would need access to a major, heavy-duty metal saw to cut through the lock. It isn't fool proof (nothing is), but it also isn't expensive or complicated, and it's a damn sight better than just sticking it on a closet shelf, or in my lingerie drawer.

Incorrect. This is why we need parents.

That game is rated for nobody younger than 18.

Blaming the gun, blaming the game, it's all a cop out because the left ever fails to blame people.

I wasn't being specific, I was using a hypothetical to say that a safe can be broken into(even though it wasn't in this case.). The point is, the home and gun owner couldn't possibly be blamed for a situation that was beyond their control.

Wouldn't of mattered if the kids didn't break into the house. Weird logic here.

never have, i prefer to not own a gun, but a criminal not knowing if I own a gun or not keeps me safer

the only ones that are advertised as not owning a gun is ex-felons

wasn't the title "12-year-old boy, 14-year-old girl open fire at deputies with guns including AK-47: Sheriff" or something like that originally?

The report you're quoting states between 300,000 and 600,000 every year,
    You should catch up
