OK, but the issues other countries had with Trump were fairly consistently international, not US internal.

Well that changed from Biden to Trump quickly... My opinion when Trump was in office was the same as it is now- I don't care about other country's opinion of our internal politics. Our foreign policy with them is of course their business.

    Alan Jones ... LOL.

Tolerated only by lightly educated outer-suburban bigoted grandmas who think he just never found the right girl, and Asian twinks.

Though I understand he has a small fan base of younger males, angry about not securing a mate as easily as their fathers did.

You seem to think a president acts alone in decision making. How odd.

I don’t doubt that Biden isn’t allowed to act on his own.

Heck, they don’t even want him to talking to reporters. He is a mess.

Would you consider the economic disruption of Trump's unilateral tarrif decision on China as being "our foreign policy with them" when the "them" is Canada, Mexico, UK, SKorea, and the rest?

Would you include Trump's unilateral decision to abandon any effort to create a unified Pacific Trade partnership that would carry the economic clout to reduce China's economic direction?

No. Most of the point is the process.

Unilateral decisions that affect others are rarely appreciated.

Trump's tarrif thing is a case in point.

Please remember that Trump couldn't even work with US Republicans.

Suggesting that he could work with other countries is just a big fat horse laugh in the face.

    Unfettered Murdoch!

May I ask... you come across as someone with a refined nervous system, indeed a "spirit guide". How can you watch more than 30 seconds of this guy?

The countries involved in our trade agreements should of course a have a say in those agreements (not sure why you even need to ask...). And if they're seeking a fair deal, they'd be wise to welcome more 1 on 1 agreements instead of conglomerated agreements that are harder to get out of and easier to get shafted in. Of course, since we're always the one getting the shaft, I understand why everyone else likes them so much...

This has NOTHING to do with Trump, do try to focus, this is about the current President and his mental ability to carry out the job.

How does ANYTHING about Trump mitigate the diminished and falling mental ability of the current President?

The question is what are we going to do about it NOW.

    I am perfectly focused.

You can't blame a political opponent on is mental health when you tolerated 10x worse with Trump.

And I'm going to point out this hypocrisy every time it comes up.

This "Btw, "Australia has an opinion" is incorrect. It must be "Alan Jones from Sky News has an opinion." SN doesn't represent the whole of Australia." is a fact. If you can't see that and preter to stay in la-la-land, you shouldn't talk to me, I'm not interested.
I know what I've read regarding other countries' perception and how important or unimportant certain people thought it is. Don't like that? Not my problem.

Being the cynic I am....why is Joe now allowed to go forth and stumble through press meetings that are unscripted and not tightly controlled? Perhaps to grease the skids for the Democrats to ride to the rescue and invoke the 25th, thus installing the true dancing puppet....the game plan from the get-go?

Because Trump is worse. If Trump could reliably find his own backside 3 times out of three I would be surprised

I love when people prove me right.

Several days ago I wrote this:

....and here we are with the quinella - a US source using a Murdoch mouthpiece as a reference.

For those unfamiliar, Alan Jones no more represents Australia than Rachel Maddow represents America. Both are on the fringes of opinion and neither is a credible source unless 'agrees with me' is your measure of credibility.

That said, I don't believe Rachel Maddow has an arrest for public indecency or a history of inappropriate relationships with students while a schoolteacher. I'll give it to US conservatives, they can pick a sexual predator from a crowd....in order to agree with them.
