Another big thing he did is get Kodak to make ingrediencies for vital medicine we have been relying on China to make for us. At one time during trade talks with China, China threatened to withhold those ingrediencies. Which would have harmed or killed thousands. Trump gave Kodak over 700,000. to start the plant. We are now making them in America and put over 700 Americans to work and help save Kodak. who was on life savers herself

Kodak began making drug ingredients four years ago and will now dramatically expand production at its New York and Minnesota facilities.

Well lets look at Trump's economy right up to January when we first found out about the virus. Then let's look at NATO.

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/job-growth-in-january...
Businesses created 304,000 jobs in January, the Labor Department said on Friday. That number blew away expectations of many economists, who had predicted that about 165,000 jobs would be added.

The Left bitched because he got tough with our NATO Allies. Said he was driving our Allies away. Both Bush and Obama tried to get NATO to put their fair share into a very weak NATO without success. Trump got it and we didn't lose them. ( Nato members increase defense spending by $100 billion ...

Lying Psak of Pshit blames Biden's terrible polling on ... the unvaccinated

More Americans declared Enemies Of The State By This Demented Administration. Officers that speak out against the incompetence are court-martialed. Parents objecting to Racist CRT indoctrination are deemed terrorists and now the unvaxxed are blamed for Biden's polling dive that is taking retraining the Houses of Congress out of the reach of Democrats.

His polling numbers are in worse shape than Hunter's septum "because of a horribly botched withdrawal from Afghanistan and creeping stagflation and Democrat paralysis on infrastructure and the growing sense that his team doesn’t know what it’s doing on all fronts."

Biden loudly crowed victory over "the virus on July 4 hubristically, as the new variant was spreading across the country. He and his public-health team made a hash of the debate over boosters, with the head of the CDC playing both sides of the fence. Biden’s federal vaccine mandate may have cost him the backing of key Democrat voters like unvaccinated African-Americans" who well remember when the Federal government deliberately injected them with Syphilis.

They always need an enemy to run against. In 2022 it will be the unvaxxed and Trump.

The data now being carefully hidden is how many COVID dead and hospitalized are fully vaxxed.
It was sold as 95% effective and the presumption was for a lifetime.
    That sucks.

"Protect Roe v Wade" - The job of Supreme Court Justices is to interpret and abide by the Constitution. What we need are Justices whose loyalty is to that mandate and no other. Their personal opinions about any topic should not enter into it. As Justice Kavanaugh said during his confirmation hearing, those personal opinions must be put in a box and left at home when a justice goes to work.

"Protect Democracy (voting rights)" - Yes, but being sure that votes are legitimate is protecting voting rights.

"Fix healthcare (significantly improve it)" - We can have the federal government spend as much money as we want on health care if we are willing to pay for it. If the American people are willing to take home less of their paychecks to pay for more health care coverage, so be it.

"Mitigate the effects of AGW" - Yes, agree. But in the meantime, we must remain energy independent and not shutter our energy industry to a point where we need to import energy. Nor should we take on policies that jack up the price of energy. All that does is hurt middle and lower class people. Let's also not shut down coal-fired electric plants without replacing that lost energy. Brown-outs and black-outs must be avoided.

"Protect civil rights/LGBTQ/institutional racism" - Then protect and defend the right of free speech all around. Frankly, liberals are not good at that. The right to keep and bear arms is also a civil right that should be protected and defended. If you want to protect civil rights, you don't get to pick and choose.

"Bring all the criminals from the past administration to justice" - For what? If they have committed articulable and provable crimes, fine - do it. If you're just looking for revenge, if you just don't like them, that is no reason to arrest or prosecute anyone.

Lets look at the economy Obama handed off to Trump.

Recovery Has Created Far More Low-Wage Jobs Than Better-Paid ...
    www.nytimes.com/2014/04/28/business/economy/...
Apr 27, 2014 · Economy Recovery Has Created Far More Low-Wage Jobs Than Better-Paid Ones
How good were the 10.9 million jobs under Obama?
    Money.CNN.com/2016/11/04/news/economy/jobs-under-obama/...
Nov 03, 2016 · CNNMoney breaks down what kinds of jobs have been created and ... Almost all of the job gains under President Obama have been in so-called service jobs,

The deep recession wiped out primarily high-wage and middle-wage jobs. Yet the strongest employment growth during the sluggish recovery has been in low-wage work, at places like strip malls and fast-food restaurants.

In essence, the poor economy has replaced good jobs with bad ones. That is the conclusion of a new report from the National Employment Law Project, a research and advocacy group, analyzing employment trends four years into the recovery.

“Fast food is driving the bulk of the job growth at the low end — the job gains there are absolutely phenomenal,” said Michael Evangelist, the report’s author. “If this is the reality — if these jobs are here to stay and are going to be making up a considerable part of the economy — the question is, how do we make them better?”

The report shows that total employment has finally surpassed its pre-recession level. “The good news is we’re back to zero,” Mr. Evangelist said.

But job losses and gains have been skewed. Higher-wage industries — like accounting and legal work — shed 3.6 million positions during the recession and have added only 2.6 million positions during the recovery. But lower-wage industries lost two million jobs, then added 3.8 million.

    77 percent of 2013 jobs were part-time positions ...
    https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/aug/2/part-timer-nation...
Aug 02, 2013 · Fully 77 percent of positions added to the market in 2013 have been part-time, in contrast to the positive economic news making the media rounds, according to payroll reports released in recent weeks.

"There are now 1.2 million fewer jobs in mid- and higher-wage industries than there were before the Great Recession, according to data from the National Employment Law Project. In contrast, there are 2.3 million more jobs in lower-wage sectors than before the recession," according to CNBC. Nor is there the hoped-for renaissance in American manufacturing. We have some 300,000 fewer manufacturing jobs since President Barack Obama took office and 1.5 million jobs below the pre-recession level.

Welfare At All-Time High Under Obama

The latest government figures reveal that an astonishing number of people are collecting public benefits such as food stamps and disability checks, revealing an alarming trend of dependence on government rather than self-sufficiency associated with the American dream.

A record 5.4 million workers have applied for federal disability checks since President Obama took office, according to a news report that cites recent government figures. This is straining already-stretched government finances while posing a long-term economic threat by creating an ever-growing pool of permanently dependent working-age Americans, the report says.

Since the recession supposedly ended in mid 2009, the number of people who have applied for disability benefits is double the job growth figure, according the report which includes an informative chart. In just the first four months of this year, 539,000 joined the disability rolls and more than 725,000 applied for the federal benefit. That means nearly 11 million people are on disability, according to the Social Security Administration.

Also this week, government figures reveal that a record number are getting food stamps and the figure will keep rising. This is not surprising since the Obama Administration has promoted the program like there’s no tomorrow in an effort to eradicate “food insecure households.” In fact, the administration has spent millions of dollars to recruit even more food-stamp recipients and has doled out hefty cash rewards to states that sign up the most people. One state even bragged about a $5 million performance bonus it got from the feds for its “swift processing of applications.”https://www.judicialwatch.org/.../welfare-at-all-time.../

    https://www.atr.org/thanks-trump-median-household-income-highest-level-ever

Real median household income has grown by $4,144 or 6.8 percent since President Trump took office, according to an op-ed published in the Wall Street Journal.

This data is based on a report released by Sentier Research analyzing the Census Bureau’s monthly Current Population Survey.
As noted in the op-ed, authored by Stephen Moore, real median household income is at an all-time high:
“Real median household income—the amount earned by those in the very middle—hit $65,084 (in 2019 dollars) for the 12 months ending in July. That’s the highest level ever and a gain of $4,144, or 6.8%, since Mr. Trump took office. By comparison, during 7½ years under President Obama—starting from the end of the recession in June 2009 through January 2017—the median household income rose by only about $1,000.”
The below chart highlights the strong Trump wage growth.

I'll take you up on that. Because you don't know what Trump did in response to covid or what the Democrats did. You don't know much about Trump at all.

He was told on Jan 21, he was told by Dr. Fauci it wasn't any worse than the flue.https://nj1015.com/is-dr-fauci-right-about-covid-19-opinion/

It wasn't until Jan 29th that Who came out on how dangerous that virus was and two days later Trump closed the border to China. Against the wishes of Biden I might add.

Today, President Donald J. Trump announced the formation of the President’s Coronavirus Task Force. Members of the Task Force have been meeting on a daily basis since Monday. At today’s meeting, which the President chaired, he charged the Task Force with leading the United States Government response to the novel 2019 coronavirus and with keeping him apprised of developments.
The Task Force is led by Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar, and is coordinated through the National Security Council. It is composed of subject matter experts from the White House and several United States Government agencies, and it includes some of the Nation’s foremost experts on infectious diseases.
The Task Force will lead the Administration’s efforts to monitor, contain, and mitigate the spread of the virus, while ensuring that the American people have the most accurate and up-to-date health and travel information.
The President’s top priority is the health and welfare of the American people. That is why, in 2018, President Trump signed the National Biodefense Strategy, which improves speed of action in situations such as this. What was Who telling people to do about masks as late as April?

The United Nations public health agency previously recommended in early April only healthcare workers, those infected with the coronavirus and their caregivers should wear medical masks. WHO at the time said the use of medical masks among the general public could create a false sense of security and cause people to ignore social distancing measures and hygiene practices. The agency said another concern was people may contaminate themselves by touching their face more frequently when they adjust, remove and dispose of their masks. Medical mask supplies were also needed by medical professionals overwhelmed by the coronavirus pandemic.

Trump was getting all kinds of mixed messages from the medical experts. But he sent more ventilators than NY and Washington state could use, even though they said at first it wasn't enough. Washington and NY began giving them to other states. He sent two Mercy ships, one to NY and one to California that were only partially used and he set up field hospital rooms to NY that were never used.
