    How many millions of votes did Trump get? No, Trump didn’t suck, a four year campaign of hate by the left, millions of mail in ballots that Nadler said were open to fraud, the media pulling for Biden every minute of every day, and Zuck’s $420 million spent on getting libs to vote for a guy who didn’t campaign, who couldn’t draw a crowd when he did, whose VP said was racist, and who had the protection of big tech if you mentioned the big guy’s ten percent cut and who it came from.

    At this point the right wing is nothing but a rabble shouting insults like teen age boys at a Friday night game. They really have nothing to say about policy anymore and they sure as hell are no longer conservatives, all they have left is to mimic their radio shock jocks and strut around like neutered roosters.

    Since you’re more interested in talking about past elections rather than the subject of this thread (what a surprise) Reagan absolutely destroyed Carter with 489 electoral votes to Carter’s 49, and Biden is doing the exact same things Carter did only worse. In the next election Reagan got 525 electoral votes to on 13 for democrats.

    I can't say how much I'm enjoying the shock our Proggy friends are experiencing on learning that life outside the bubble isn't what they've been told it is. It's like watching people kept in a basement since birth, suddenly find out there's a daytime. They've really been conned, just as thoroughly as any cult member.

    Apologies, but what does any of this have to do with Trump/Trumpists?

    I can't stand Trump, and I like Biden just about as well. All the enjoyment coming from this is in seeing a group who imagined themselves beyond criticism, experiencing the normalcy of political sledging. Their righteous indignation is incredibly funny. Their sheer shock at having people point and laugh at their sainted ideology, is worth its weight in gold.

    I don't personally give a crap about the details, but I love seeing pride take a fall :p

    And this raises another issue. You say the under 40 crowd on the left hated Biden, and we know the left hated Trump. Typically when people hate both candidates they either vote 3rd party or stay home. Yet we're supposed to believe Biden broke voting records.

    They don't want to talk about the dead soldiers Biden is responsible for in Afghanistan
    They don't want to talk about the millions of china virus contaminated illegals Biden invited into this country and is shipping all over the place in the middle of the night
    They don't want to talk about inflation except to say it's a good thing
    And they don't want to talk about the shipping crisis as the guy in charge takes two months off to suckle his kid.

    Doesn't work with that crowd (my own crowd, for my sins). Their ultimate aim is always accessing public money, so they'll never vote against that interest. If the Devil himself stop up for the Welfare State, they'd vote for him.

    Conservatives OTOH, aren't voting for their own dependence - so if they don't like the candidate they may not vote at all. Independent people can't be as easily bought. They might vote for a candidate they don't like purely to keep the other side out .. but this would be an entirely individual thing. There's no wholesale hunger for the taxpayer's dollar.
