    Bidenflation -> Starvation

US Food Banks Struggle To Feed Hungry Amid 'Perfect Storm' Of Food Inflation
    [IMG]
Fewer families will be fed this year.

Biden uses his creepy whisper voice to brag about how he was funding a workers strike against Americans which this liar claimed would drive up real wages. It is driving down real wages and creating shortages. Biden is a complete screw up irresistibly drawn to the worst possible action.
    Intolerable, time for change.

    Totally Comical.
    Comical Beyond Belief.
    They've Got NOTHING...
    Too Funny...

    Obviously, Inflation is rising.
    Everybody KNOWS that.

No matter whose "fault" it is...
America is RID of that Mistakenly-Elected IMBECILE (Trump)...
If Inflation (and Higher Prices) are "collateral damage", so be it...
    Trump HAD To Go...

when gas prices rose under Trump, the right blamed it on opec

now that Biden is in office, they blame it on the President

Trump was never responsible for anything

Fake News. Trump, with his unusually large brain, in coordination with American Energy producers, reduced the OPEC stranglehold on fuel prices.

Nearly 80% of Americans blame Biden for inflation surge: poll
    https://nypost.com › 2021 › 08 › 12 › nearly-80-of-americans-blame-biden-for-inflation-surge-poll

"Nearly 80 percent of Americans blame the Biden administration's economic policies for the inflation spike. "

    And they are right!

ELECTRICIANS, TRUCK DRIVERS, LONGSHOREMEN, NOW THIS: How a nationwide shortage of plow drivers, could make for a long winter.

“There are signs up around the city pleading for employees. But so far, Chelmsford is short about dozen plow drivers. They have the equipment; they just don’t have the people. . . . And it’s not just the cost of paying plow drivers that is going to hit communities hard this winter. The price of road salt has skyrocketed by as much as 31%.”

With Bidenflation there’s always a shortage of people who do useful things, but, a surplus of highly paid folks who spew useless bullshit.

I don't think anyone disagrees with you about Biden.

He is as useless as he was 100 years ago when he entered politics. Nancy, Chuck and the gang are also the same, business-unfriendly folks they've always been.

The Democrat party is the same anti-energy independence crew they've always been

This train wreck was brought about by Democrat voters who voted for the incompetent folks who hurt the nation, but say kind words. I guess being told that everything is AOK while Rome is burning is what Democrat voters wanted.

Democrat votes have consequences; always harmful

Well, thanks to the Democrat voters and giving full control to Democrats, the folks don't have much money left after paying for higher grocery costs and higher heating costs. So, where are they going anyway? Just look out your window at the 3 feet of snow still on the roads and view it as symbolic of how Democrat voters think you should live.

Democrat voters really screwed the pooch this time

why do you reply to the arrogance of some; the "let them eat cake" mentality that seems pervasive among Democrat voters?

the avg folk can't buy Bitcoin and doesn't have extra cash that can be invested.

Then you have the retirees who don't play the market and need their money in more secure holdings to preserve their capital. Stir in out-of-control inflation brought about by Democrat votes and you have the misery that many now feel.

    Yes the arrogance

According to MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle, Biden’s Runaway Inflation is Not a Problem…Americans Can Afford It…(Let Them Eat Cake!)

MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle argued Americans have to put the high inflation rate and rising costs of food and other every day items “in perspective” on Sunday.

The consumer price index rose 6.2% year over year in October, according to the Department of Labor, the largest annual gain since November 1990. And prices rose 0.9% month over month.

But the soaring costs, Ruhle said on NBC, were expected after the worldwide pandemic, before telling anchor Willie Geist that Americans “on average” can actually afford the higher prices.

“The dirty little secret here, Willie, while nobody likes to pay more, on average, we have the money to do so,” she said. “Household savings hit a record high over the pandemic, we didn’t really have anywhere to go out and spend.”

Ruhle added that the U.S. is expecting “record” retail sales this year, home values are up, and the stock market is experiencing record highs, to justify her argument....

These smug and arrogant folk have always been this way. It's the Democrat voters who gave them the power.

So what's worse, the smug elite folk or the people who encourage them by voting Democrat?

Funnier yet is Biden and the left claiming that if we passed their reconciliation bill then inflation would go down when the truth is we would be pouring gasoline on the fire.

Americans souring on economy as inflation hits 30-year high

They should be souring on federal government. It is the source of the economic problems we suffer currently. Inflating the money supply provided inflation. Mandates related to covid provided the shortages. My advice is to vote better.

I thought that the Republicans were all about capitalism. Seems to be many commenting on these issues.
So, why is it up to the politicians to control inflation and pricing, when you think that the government should stay out of the way of businesses?

Biden and the Dems ability to screw up Trump's fabulous economy boggles the mind.

CBO Proves the Biden Administration Is Lying on Multiple Fronts.

“The White House has begun bracing lawmakers for a disappointing estimate from the budget office, which is likely to find that the cost of the overall package will not be fully paid for with new tax revenue over the coming decade. Senior administration officials are urging lawmakers to disregard the budget office assessment, saying it is being overly conservative in its calculations.”

Their answer to being caught lying, is lie some more!

    All liars.
And now Biden's going to push his VP out, a woman of color that he insisted was "family"? Apparently she hasn't shown proper submissiveness to Joe and DOCTOR Jill.

There isn't market control over Federal spending. When you control the money, you control the economy. Republicans tend to favor Free Markets over a Command Economy.

But isn't inflation due to prices being raised by corporations? I know there's more to it, but it just seems that there are many here on this forum who argue both, depending on the subject. I suspect that it is mainly born from a prior agenda on their mind, so they fit their argument to the point they are trying to make.
Just pointing out the occasional hypocrisy.

That's a cop out excuse. You don't get to take credit for the good, and then say "it is what it is" to the bad. Biden took multiple steps and policies which are directly related to inflationary issues.

Trump was opposed to another stimulus, to continuing federal unemployment, to post-poning evictions, etc. It's almost like he knew that supporting those things would create excess inflation.

Trump called for another round of stimulus checks: https://www.cnbc.com/2020/10/07/trump-calls-for-congress-to-approve-second-1200-stimulus-checks.html
    And eviction protection: https://trumpwhitehouse.archives.go...ns-protect-americans-homes-covid-19-pandemic/
    Finally, federal unemployment: https://www.cnbc.com/2020/12/28/tru...-but-jobless-benefits-lapse-for-millions.html
It's almost like he was waffling back and forth, really. I think he was doing and saying anything to please people.

Democrat voters brought about this train wreck? Oh please! If Trump was still in office and this happened, the republican party (Party of blame) would be pointing the finger at everyone else except themselves.

    Yes.
Indeed. Here are the key points that I think aid in a sensible evaluation:
    i) The purpose of the free market is for us to exchange our goods and labor.
ii) Allowing the market (us) to find price point allows our energy and resources to be devoted to the market's (our) actual needs.

from here we transit from the basics to fiat money.

iii) Currency is a call on labor. When I have money to offer, people will give me the fruit of their goods and labor.
iv) Stable currency accurately reflects a stable portion of goods and services.

from here we can understand inflation and deflation.

    v) If money supply increases faster than the supply of goods and services, currency value decreases (prices rise)
vi) If the supply of goods and services increases faster than currency supply, currency value increases (prices fall)
