Clearly you are in denial of the Science as it relates to gender.

There are way MORE than just TWO sets of DNA, in fact there are at least 6 variations that I am aware of.

Those DNA variations are BIOLOGICAL and found in transpeople.

Altering the hormonal balance brings the biological body into alignment with the gender that is determined from the DNA variation.

Bigotry is purely a play on emotions to appease low self-esteem minds.

    Gender:
    Male

I've probably seen over a million male and females in my life time.

I've seen a handful of transpersons.

I've never met one intersex but I know they do exist.

They exist, but it's reasonable to conclude that persons who aren't male or female, are anomalies of nature.

    Nature does, indeed, produce anomalies.

So, whether it is 'science' to assert there are two sexes, or more, is merely a matter of point of view, which is psychological.

It is similar in music. Music is something I know a lot about.

One could assert there are an infinite number of chords.

Or, one could assert there are essentially only two, major and minor, and all other chords are subsets of those two.

Both answers are correct, it depends on how one looks at the subject.

See, with the two chord approach, one is defining chords by first interval, a major or minor third, defining the chord therefrom.

Or one could define chords via the three note (triad) approach, then there are four, major, minor, augmented, and diminished (this is the convention, though I disagree with this approach).

Or one could define chords via the four note approach, major seventh, minor seventh, dominant seventh, and half diminished,

and in each of the above, additional chords are subsets.

In the two chord approach, there are two chords.

Or, in the two chord approach, one cold assert that a different root means a different chord, then there are 24 chords.

All of these are correct, is just depends on how one looks at the subject.

In terms of 'gender', it's verisimilar. One could assert there are two sexes, and anything beyond this are anomalies.

Or, one can include all the anomalies as additional types.

There is no clear cut way to approach the subject. The woke crowd wants to make it more than two sexes.

The non-woke crowd are content with what they have been seeing their entire life, male and female.

I'm the latter. I've seen nothing but males and females throughout existence, my entire life.

Yes, there are anomalies, but they way I look at it, anomalies do not equal a new type. It seems to me that nature basically wants two types, but nature produces anomalies.

There is male and female, and each are a polarity and there are shades of each polarity, but those shades aren't a new type, they are just shades.

One could look at it and say yes, they do, indeed, constitute a new type.

Like music, it depends on how you want to look at it. There is no right or wrong way to look at it.

If you have male genitals, but wear female attire, and want me to refer to you with feminine pronouns, fine I'll do that, I don't want to fight, or cause trouble.

But you can't change how I look at it. In my head, you are a male. In my head, I am thinking you are not being honest with yourself.

I think it is better to be honest with oneself. If one is a cross dresser, just accept it. I'm okay with cross dressers, in my view, you are a feminine man, a less masculine shade of male. I think it would be better, spiritually, for one to accept who and what one is, but, I'm not going to argue with you about it, live and let live. Now, when I say 'you' I don't mean you, I don't know you, I mean the 'generic' you. I mean those who are in this category. Persons with male genitalia who outwardly attempt to appear female.

I do, however, have a personal gripe with people who are not honest with themselves. That's my opinion.

To use your obscure analogy it is wrong to label a musical note as middle C when it is not a middle C and that is EXACTLY what YOU are doing when you DEMAND that others MUST fit into YOUR arbitrary boxes.

Reread my comment. I've added some things, but no, I don't demand anyone to look at anything any particular way.

As for your comment about 'C', it is obvious you know little about music.

On transposing instruments, such as Tenor sax, a 'C' is actually played as a B flat on a piano, guitar, or vibraphone..

Just as your comments demonstrate that you know next to nothing at all about gender.

    Sad!

I've seemed to have a hit nerve with you. Truth hurts.

Nature is not interested in human's petty gender arguments. Nature made animals to reproduce, if they don't, they die out. So nature makes two sexes, male and female.

Those that don't like it, have produced a game, a play on words. The majority stand back and watch them have melt downs over what they are, how to look, which parts to chop off and stick on. They claim they're an A, B, or C now. Normal folk and nature look and say, "You were born a bloke/lass, you will always be known as a bloke/lass".

Slapping lipstick on doesn't change a guy and growing hair under your armpits doesn't change a lass. So by all means live the dream in the gender theatre, but basically, that's all it is, a show.

One day, scientists may be able to produce a cure for these problematic minds.

    Oh, the PROJECTION!

    Twofer projection!

    :roflol:

Clearly you have no comprehension of how nature and EVOLUTION functions.

These VARIATIONS are NORMAL because that is how evolution works.

Our environment is constantly changing and therefore evolution ensures that living creatures have the ability to ADAPT in order to SURVIVE.

One day scientists might be able to produce a cure for self inflicted ignorance but I am not holding my breath expecting that to occur in the next couple of millennia if ever.

Basic biology and basic sex education obviously doesn't seem to be basic enough for the very basic of society.

    No projection and no sadness.

Mental illnesses are no laughing matter, you might laugh at the trans community but suicides among trans and homosexuals is quite high.

If you can't take the subject seriously, you should jog on by

I know enough that it's just a matter of point of view.

Funny thing about gender identity, it only exists for humans, no other species has it.

That proves it is psychological, not biological.

It is not bigotry to correctly assert that males have an X and Y chromosome and females have two X chromosomes.

That's absolutely right. There are a handful of anomalies. I think there's a frog that will actually change sex, but only if there's an imbalance in the ratio males to females, and the purpose of changing sex is to reproduce to ensure the survival of the species.

Not seeing it. That presumes it's genetic and there's no evidence there is.

There is some evidence homosexuality is hormonal in part, and so that could be fixed.

    Sucks to be them.

Scientists confirmed there's no homosexual gene, so it's not physical, but mental. Hopefully medicine can be developed to get their minds back in step with the body they were born with.

If I said to a surgeon, "Cut my healthy arm off", I would be carted off to get my head examined. If I claimed to be trapped in the wrong body and asked a surgeon to cut my healthy penis off, that's classed as OK. We live in freaky times.

I think that gender does exist. I think that gender is dependent upon sex.

Well, I’m not bigoted toward people who disagree with me on that. I would like to consider why I might be wrong.

From your own content it is clear that you are sadly MISINFORMED about the trans community.

Being BORN trans is NOT a "mental illness".

Lack of ACCEPTANCE by BIGOTS is the primary CAUSE of those suicides.

Facts matter so perhaps you should try taking the subject seriously by actually researching them for yourself instead of just posting vacuous projections.

    Have a nice day!

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA!

That has to be one of the most ABSURD allegations I have ever encountered based upon YOUR fallacious ASSUMPTION about every other species.

You have ZERO factual evidence to substantiate your abject DENIAL of the existence of gender identity in other species. Without that evidence all your have is YOUR baseless OPINION on the matter.

While there is no DEFINITIVE evidence for gender in other species there IS sufficient evidence for the PROBABLITY of gender in other species. There mere existence of a probability greater than zero establishes that you are WRONG in your fallacious assumption.

    Sad!

It is BIGOTRY to fallaciously ASSUME the above given that we have Scientific DNA evidence to the contrary.

    Wrong, there is Scientific evidence!

And you are welcome to your opinion as I am welcome to mine. Not embracing a mental illness is not being bigoted. I've done many a year on and off psychology reading, and I've altered some of my beliefs over the years with the knowledge I found the psychology material. For example, Homosexuality was removed from the list of mental illnesses not based on science, but based on a vote.

To treat a mental disorder, you use medicine and medical procedures. Take transgender, if it's not a mental illness, then why are you treating them with medicine and a medical procedure?

Mental illness is nothing to be ashamed of. It is a medical problem, just like heart disease or diabetes.

Mental illnesses are health conditions involving changes in emotion, thinking or behavior (or a combination of these). Mental illnesses are associated with distress and/or problems functioning in social, work or family activities.

Mental illness is common. In a given year:

nearly one in five (19 percent) U.S. adults experience some form of mental illness
one in 24 (4.1 percent) has a serious mental illness*
one in 12 (8.5 percent) has a diagnosable substance use disorder
Mental illness is treatable. The vast majority of individuals with mental illness continue to function in their daily lives.

Yes, basically gender/sex, sex/gender is the same thing. But to accommodate troubled minds, the gender side has been developed into a play on words. This play on words has been devised to breakaway from science, logic, nature and fact.

It's hilarious that the party that claims to believe in science thinks you can have a big old penis and still be a "woman"......

In this little corner of the Galaxy called planet Earth where I come from women do not have penises

But the important part is -

To treat a mental disorder, you use medicine and medical procedures. Take transgender, if it's not a mental illness, then why are you treating them with medicine and a medical procedure?

It's a basic premise, so what's your specific reply to it?
