    I agree the Texas law is misguided. Women should not be prosecuted for abortions.

    Whatever the budget for the county's PD, Sheriff, DA and jail - multiply x1,000, and DON'T SETTLE. Force a public, civil verdict that will bankrupt the county. A DOJ civil rights case should follow.

    First off, our national abortion policy was imposed by the Supreme Court. It's one of the least "democratic" rules in place in America today. Don't come crying to me about respect for "our democratic system" in a discussion about f***ing ABORTION rules that go directly against the wishes of the majority of Texas voters. The day your side starts respecting the voters wishes on abortion rights will be the day this opening line doesn't ring hollow from you.

    That's already happening today. See the aforementioned Kyle Rittenhouse, the Duke Lacrosse players, or the vast majority of the January 6th protesters. We don't have a "justice system" in America anymore. We have a legal industry that both sides try to twist to achieve their political goals. It's not my preferred system, but since it's the one I'm stuck in, I'm also not going to sit back and unilaterally disarm myself while leftists engage in "lawfare" all across the country.

    It wasn’t imposed by the Supreme Court. The 14th amendment was already instituted. Anti-abortion laws were unconstitutional. We shouldn’t be able to democratically decide to violate peoples’ constitutional rights.

    There were plenty of leftists that either knew full well he had NOT broken the law, or just didn't care either way, they just wanted to see the white guy locked up, regardless of what the law said.

    No, just those that don't have the brains to understand basic sex education. If they wish to make a choice, make it BEFORE taking the knickers off, it's not rocket science.
