For 2000 years, at least, thoughtful elders in society have been grappling with evil as a concept. Death by suicide ARE included in total gun deaths here, which skews the numbers and makes them appear to be worse than what they actually are when you consider that a suicide isn’t endangering anyone except that person. So when you account for suicides not being dangerous to the public and that the vast majority of gun deaths are also gang related and generally restricted to specific areas, the TRUE danger of guns is brought into a bit more perspective, don’t you think?

If you told poor inner city kids that they have a high chance of drowning, most would look at you like you’re crazy because many probably have never seen a pool. Yet kids in the suburbs may be overly afraid of getting shot due to what they see on the news or what their parents tell them, which in reality is not reality at all.

A kid in the suburbs probably has a much higher chance of drowning. And we all know this because we all have fences around our pools and hear the stories about unattended toddlers. But if you poll what’s more dangerous , a pool or a gun, take a guess which one parents are more afraid of? It should be the pool, because pools and beaches kill MORE KIDS THAN GUNS DO!!!
