    Of course it is... under veiled threat of criminal prosecution if he didn't....

    The real question is why it took Georgia 14 months to start looking into it... mysterious....

    Just curious... have you ever listened to that call in it's entirety?? I recommend everybody do so, for a detailed look into the mind of a classic narcissistic personality disorder.... It's Captain Queeg on the stand on steroids...

    I've done it twice now (accompanied by the transcript to try and follow along with all the interrupting and mindless repetition) and it never fails to amaze...

    Maybe you take your direction from Trump I do not, try again.

    This is a committee to present a hyperpartisan, one sided view of events, presenting evidence that shall not be challenged, witnesses who shall not be cross-examined or testimony tested and repeated running of videos and out right lies about events in order to smear a private citizen and others for partisan political reasons. It's a pure propaganda show. To have people like Adam Schiff up there to "find the truth" is absurd nonsense and an insult to the American people.

    Congressional committees are barred by court rulings from conducting such "investigations", they are barred from investigations in order to see if someone committed a crime. But that is where the Dems have taken our government.

    But I recall at the time, the MAGA's on here were celebrating McCarthy beating Pelosi in the 4th-dimensional Indian Poker he plays in his head...

    Sort of reminds me of the scene early in the Poseidon Adventure, when Gene Hackman begs all the flat-earthers to climb up the Christmas tree to potential safety, just before they all drown when the water comes in.... (although it always seemed to me that some would have floated up alive to Hackman's perch when the water level rose??)

    Nope Pelosi told them SHE would decided which Republicans could serve and what evidence would be allowed and what witness they could call. OF COURSE the Republicans refused to let her dictate to them in violation of House rules. She got what she wanted a hyperpartisan biased committee producing exactly what she wanted. A propaganda dog and pony show.

    McCarthy was also free to be happy Nancy ALLOWED the other 3 to be on her committee, a decision she probably would have come to regret eventually.

    Looking back on it now, how would things have changed? Obviously, they wouldn't have had all unanimous votes on subpoena's and things. I wonder what sort of damage even the 3 accepted GOPPERs would have been able to cause in such a minority?

    And more obviously, no Trump acolyte would have been given a "hearing day", like Kinzinger will get today.. So it's actually unclear if they would have had ANY role in the actual hearings (like "rebuttal" questioning)... I still haven't heard a word from at least 3 of the existing members to date (Meadows, Raskin, and Kinzinger), and they're on the correct side.

    You said there are no connections in that post. Why would the DOJ be waiting to charge Trump or anyone with a crime they have arrested the persons who engaged in the violent that day, we have seen no calling of persons in the Trump White House let alone Trump before a grand jury. In fact that investigation seems to be over and now in the prosecution stage.

    All these claims that Trump is going to be charged with a crime as we have been hearing for over six years................and...............nothing.

    Did Pelosi veto Republican members of the committee? Yes. Nothing distorted about it. McCarthy does not have to get her permission for his choices or witnesses or evidence for committees and hearings. If McCarthy was free to pick his choices would be on the committee. Thanks for proving he was not.

    I said there are no proven connections TO THE RW OUTFITS known at this point. Please try in the future not to read more into the simple statement I made...

    I'll predict right now T**** will never be indicted for anything having to do with the riot itselt his non-actions that day, other than the riot was a small part of the overall conspiracy to defraud the United States... His criminal exposure goes back well before that day....
