Australians telling the truth by accident? Here's a new paper with a conclusion that obviously disappointed the authors. So they added some speculation to try to soften the blow against the orthodox AGW narrative. Study: Global Warming is Causing a DECLINE in Tropical Cyclones Eric Worrall Aussie researchers believe cyclone intensity may be rising, though their study was “too coarse” to address this question. . . .
Again, peer review is NOT a review of whether the conclusions justify overturning established climate theory. It's focused on issues of methodology, etc.
Why do you not cite your source? Why does it start in 1966? What is it that YOU think this chart means? Do you think the sun is burning out? Do you think solar output will remain cool? Please consider solar irradiance by year as ONE of the factors in Earth's temperature future. The other factor is the increasing ability of Earth to retain heat.: https://climate.nasa.gov/climate_resources/189/graphic-temperature-vs-solar-activity/ The danger this chart shows is that Earth's increased ability to retain solar heat will be especially serious as the solar irradiance increases as must be expected of the sun.
Because it presents a peer-reviewed paper: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41558-022-01388-4 And because increased increased tropical cyclone activity is a persistent climate alarmist theme.
The graph comes from the link in #432. It starts in 1966 because that is when the data were collected. Your chart is meaningless.
Aren't Increasing violent storms one of the prime talking points climate disaster predictors? Along with rising oceans, higher temperatures, droughts, starving polars, etc?
I haven't seen cyclones as some theme. Surely it is well down the list. Plus, it is well known that there have been differences on how climate change has and will affect hurricanes and cyclones. You can't really call it a serious theme when there isn't even solid agreement on it.
As far as I know, the primary scientific agreement is that Earth's average temperature is rising due to human activity. Over the last few years there certainly has been active discussion among scientists concerning what that means for cyclones and hurricanes. We should probably look up what the last IP report says, as claims of danger that aren't reported in that report would seem to be questionable.
It is remarkable that you would claim this has not been a theme. LOL!! You are just plain hilarious. Once again, you forget that one paper does not overthrow all other papers and/or falsify all other theory.
Are you serious? That list I gave is cited in every climate disaster piece. Remember just a few weeks ago when it was predicted this hurricane/stropical storm season could be more active than usual?

Except that their intensity claim was not part of the research in their paper, and the data are otherwise. If the science were accepted then Kossin et al would not have had to resort to sleight-of-hand to get the outcome they wanted. Highly Touted Alarmist Hurricane ‘Study’ Sets New Low for Misleading Deception Hurricanes May 21, 20208 The media are breathlessly touting a cheap new “study” falsely asserting climate change is causing an increase in strong hurricanes. In reality, the study...
I think you've totally lost track of what your point is. Are you talking about the media or a science study? They aren't the same thing, I presume you know. The cited paper was corrected. Did you really just post a blog about a paper that was corrected? I just think you are making mistakes in your desperate attempt to prove something - but it isn't even clear what you are trying to prove.
