Two Secret Service agents are prepared to testify before Congress that then-President Trump did not lunge at a steering wheel or assault them in an attempt to go to the Capitol during the Jan. 6 riot, a source close to the Secret Service tells Fox News.

The explosive new allegations were made on Tuesday by Cassidy Hutchinson, a former top aide to Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

The security was there for his protection, he did not believe they poised a threat to him. He thought the crowd was filling to slow. It was dumb and of course the Secret Service was not going to stop using them. That's all it was not some big let's send armed people to take over the WH as this biased committee is trying to present.

Yeah in other words you haven't been listening to the hearings held to gather evidence and understanding, you have your biased doubts, you even mischaracterized these evidence-gathering sessions to inform the public as court trials. .... but with all your errors and your lack of interest in the proceedings, you want to have opinions based only on you biases and hunches while the rest of us have watched closely and know what's going on. So you have beliefs and suspicions; we have facts and sworn testimony. So you know what you can do with your beliefs and suspicions.

You claim "we have testimony" that some of the rioters had firearms, but was the witness cross examined? As is a bedrock element of US Due Process? Why no, because this is a show trial, not a real trial. You can claim, unchallenged, any lie you like in a show trial.

I've asked repeatedly how many firearms were recovered during the arrest process, and by all the tap dancing, it doesn't like there were many.

The biggest winner in the J6 show trial appears to be DeSantis. Trump was probably the only guy Biden could beat. I don't see Biden beating DeSantis.

C'mon....It doesn't matter whether armed people were allowed into the rally space (they weren't).. he knew there were armed people right outside the rally space, who were CLEARLY going to be marching to the Capitol with the "official" rally attendees (even as you properly say that some didn't even wait for the speech to start to be mobile)

It's not like T**** said.... "OK... those of you officially at this rally, lets go to the Capitol..... the rest of you outside the gates?..... have a nice day"
