    A source familiar told Fox News that agents brought a "safe cracker" and cracked a "relatively new" safe in Mar-a-Lago. The source told Fox News there was "nothing in it."

    A source familiar told Fox News that FBI agents went to Mar-a-Lago and looked in every single office and safe, and grabbed documents and boxes without going through them on the property. They took boxes and documents to go through them later.

    "They were not being judicious about what they took," the source told Fox News.

    Of course, it was the Obama-Biden Maladministration's DO"J" and its weasels in the FBI who didn't raid Demokrat Hillary Clinton's home (and/or her lawyer''s office) and shielded her from prosecution...

    False premise, the US Constitution is the prevailing law, and it clearly gives the ability to run for Prez, and it only mentions impeachment (convicted) as a disqualifier.

    Wrong. A subpoena was sufficient. Prove Trump wouldn't comply. The FBI has lied in the past vis a vis, Carter Page, to attack trump before. Why is this different?

    Executive privilege does apply here. Even your own talking heads are head scratching over the need to attack Mar A Largo with agents.

    The only folks here active above the law are Garland his DOJ and the FBI.

    It was a low level magistrate who signed it from the reporting I am hearing this morning.

    This is UNPRECEDENTED and demands absolute transparancy as it stinks of another political act by the DOJ and FBI ala Russiagate.

    Ah, that explains it. You weren't aware that Presidential libraries and the National Archives go hand-in-hand. Libraries come up with this documentation . . . because other Presidents (Trump excluded) have obeyed the law and given their documents to the archives. You're welcome for the civics lesson. Yes, we should be outraged . . . by people like you trying to hold Trump above the law.

    Among independents, he is not popular. DJT is popular with a subset of Republicans, and that is it. And that subset is not going to care if all the evidence is against him or not. They will just follow him blindly, without question, without thinking.

    In Texas specifically, even those that identify as Republicans have mixed results for Trump.

    Why such drastic measures? The courts could have subpoenaed Trump to hand over the documents and that would have been the end of it, but NO, they have to make a big public show of force against a former president of the US. Just another dog and pony political **** show attempting to keep him from running again. Breaking into his personal safe? Please!

    Apparently the FBI has probable cause showing he wouldn't. And seeing as it took over a year for him to turn over the documents he was previously holding illegally, no one with two brain cells to rub together could claim he would comply. In fact, if he still has any records at all, that is absolute proof he not only WOULDN'T comply, but HASN'T COMPLIED.

    Trump has lied in the past. Why is this different?

    There is no executive privilege exception here. The documents of the office DO NOT BELONG TO TRUMP.

    Yet you insist Trump be held above the law.

    Trump was in New York. They are his personal notes and clippings and letters there was no fear anything was going to be destroyed. And of course they never raided Clinton did they.
