You should ask China what happened to those Scientists, that came out Publicly, in China, that the Chinese Wuhan Virus started there.

Of course, I doubt that they're talking, due to the fact, that nobody has heard from them for years. They magically dissappeared, in a Country where the Chinese government dictates everyone and everything, and if they don't like what someone says, they stiffel their speech, or get rid of them, or destroy their lives. Sorta like Democrat American Politicians in America. just ask Jeffrey Epstien.

Trump's decision to spew hate and blame at China is EXACTLY what causes all communication to be ended.

In fact, that even caused assaults on those of Asian ancestry who are long term American citizens.

And, why did he do that? It was PURELY an attempt at personal political gain.

Making America to be no better than China is NOT A SOLUTION.

no. I'm talking about Chinese Doctors in China that disappeared, after they came out publicly, with what was happening with the chinese Wuhan Virus.

You see, in a Dictatorship such as China, if the government doesn't like what you have to say, they can simply just murder you, and they can get away with it, because they control every aspect of people's lives over there. They are the law over there. Sorta how Democrat Politicians in America, wish to do the same.

especially with democrat politicians, if you give them a foot, they will take a mile. If there is a change to be corrupt, they probably will.

You don't know where those scientists are. And, those who have been moved out include politicians, as there were local political operatives who were working against higher ups in making it clear that there was a real problem.

Given the Trump reaction to China, it was in their best political advantage to ensure investigations went no further and that more information did not get out. No matter what the information would have been, China would have seen it as detrimental, as it was a continuation of the US blame game.

We do that, too, by the way. We aren't an autocracy, so the methods are limited. But, we have sectors that work hard to prevent evidence from being collected and normal legal process to be followed.

There are tens of thousands of SARS variants in that region. Those in that lab are the experts. We and the world are better off if we can just get over the political issues and work on this problem - together with China.

Constant bellyaching about their system BLOCKS that progress.

Think about the fact that we have huge imports and exports with China. If all those companies spent their time bellyaching about autocracy, we would clearly be worse off economically, too.

well, you see when someone goes public, to try and expose something evil, and then they're never heard from ever again, it's safe to say, that they're probably not heard from every again, because they can't speak ever again. lol.

    also, are you a trans?

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>I believe that people are very strong, and so is the human body naturally. The more a virus has to fight to evolve, and adapt to fight against humans(and stay alive), the harder it is, to survive, and to try and kill us, over time. A vaccine, could easily contradict that, and would simply prolong the virus even longer. ofcourse, this is merely 1 theory. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

plus, weather or not the vaccine was good or bad for people, even if a new strand of the virus came out, statistically, it won't last as long, since we have people with and without the vaccine. Because, it would have to evolve and adapt to destroy both kinds of people. Even though I do believe things like natural immunity, or even immunities after getting covid are stronger than a shot.

Trump made it important for China to ensure that their internal political system no longer talked about this issue.

This is counter to all modern medical science - not just in the USA, but world wide.

For a statement that resoundingly rejected by ALL in modern medicine, you really need to find some level of evidence.

Have I been misled into believing furen cleavage sites haven't existed in coronaviruses going back 250k years? Or was I misled into believing the presence of a furen cleavage site is the primary contributing factor in increasing a virus's transmissability? Or was it false that these international "scientists" figured this out about furen cleavage sites over a decade ago, and have used it to increase transmissability of various viruses, to include coronaviruses, and to include patent requests to insert it, at labs around the world since?

    Where have I gone astray?

Honest questions as the science is complex, and I cannot be sure I'm not being misled until I invest 4-5 years of studying virology myself.

We don't need or expect communication from the CCP, an organization without a soul. But the Chinese lab workers are not the CCP; they are people with souls, families, and friends. I have no doubt that at least some involved in the Wuhan lab, and some within the government itself that participated in the cover up, WANT to leak what happened. The problem is that the narrative that the virus being engineered is a conspiracy theory, that is being pushed by our leaders, media, and academia, dissuades these potential individuals from exposing what happened. It is exactly the opposite of what you would do if you wanted lab workers to come forward. And it's intentional.

Both trade partners gain from trade.

And, damaging our economy in hopes that it might damage the economy of some OTHER country is just plain crazy.

Past presidents of both parties have disagreed with your idea of reducing communication with China.

Let's remember that SARS strains have moved into the human population multiple times in the past. It certainly did NOT require engineering by humans to cause that to happen.

We are better off if we put part of our energy into understanding how SARS can enter the human population, how that process can be slowed, and how it can be earlier detected.

OUR objective should be to reduce the chances of future SARS related diseases like COVID.

Since the animals that harbor tens of thousands of SARS variants live near Wuhan and since the Wuhan labs have the experts on SARS and these animals, since the human population interacts with the local animals, we can't meet OUR objectives without working together with those scientists who are there.

I don't think the US has gained as much from the relationship as China has.

Our standard of living would be clearly worse without that trade.

I don't see any benefit of that.

As Nixon pointed out, we have more influence in improving China by opening trade with them. The power of that trade with the West has clearly made improvements in China.

One has to have confidence in free market enterprise and capitalism. It is a powerful force.

Viruses can be WMD's. Humans WILL figure out how to engineer or tweak a virus so that it targets only certain DNA profiles, or races, and soon. We have lived with WMD's for some time because of the deterrence factor. Any use would result in the destruction of the user. Covid proved that that may not be so with a biological weapon.

The US government's lack of urgency on investigating the origins of Covid has made us all much less safe. Because we all live in a new and unpredictable era in which WMD's exist WITHOUT mutually assured destruction. Please consider the danger of this, and realize this problem requires a solution ASAP, before collaborating with the CCP on SARS (which I, and others, also believe were lab leaks), resolving climate change, systemic racism, or the Ukraine crisis. You can collaborate with a regime that gunned down thousands of students, has millions in concentration camps and forced labor because of their ethnicity, and is currently threatening to invade an island of millions who clearly don't want to be under their thumb (and just happens to supply most of the world's advanced semiconductors), I don't want my government doing it, and question the judgment of any government official or scientist who thinks it's a good idea.

Maybe your standard of living. Many of us want our jobs with dignity back, and believe the tradeoff isn't worth it.

    The danger IS there.

However, Trump's approach to attacking China throughout the press was destructive of ANY ability of the USA to be involved in examining what happened at Wuhan.

That's a KEY example of why we have FAILED to know what happened and have FAILED to be able to move toward reducing the odds of future such events.

Throwing in Taiwan is just not acceptable. That IS a separate issue. And, requiring a total solution to all we don't like about China is just plain ridiculous.

The catch is, that is not going to happen. And, I think you know that.

Free market capitalism says we have to compete.

True. They DO have to face free market capitalism.

And, it has caused change in China over the years.

It has changed us too and China planned to change. They are long range thinkers and planners and ehen they were allowed to buy super computers the Genie was out of the bottle.

The fastest computers on Earth are made by the Chinese - their design, their creation and their programming.

Yes, I agree that they think ahead farther than we do.

In the US, most of the modern economy is created by corporations that are held to about 5 year range profitability by their shareholders. China doesn't have that constraint. Their greater central control can make longer range planning possible.

Corporations such as US auto manufacturing just can't think ahead very far. So, they get caught flat footed, multiple times. Then, we wonder what happened.
