    this is a retard check!
long covid is the after effects left over from having contracted covid not covid itself.
Watch there will be scads of retards wearing masks!

it is when they're telling you things that have been proven useless.
unless what they're saying is true if you're prejudiced against the source you're not capable of understanding what rationale is. Even broken clocks are right twice a day.
no it didn't. It can't that doesn't make sense that's not how viruses work.
    [QUOTE[
This was critical when our hospitals were being overwhelmed with severe cases, putting us at risk of not saving people only because resources are stretched too thin.[/QUOTE] hospitals were mostly being overwhelmed by incompetence by officials and interfering regulations. Without seeing the normal patients that they would they had no income and had to lay off their staff so they didn't have the support to deal with even a normal hospital issue. The counting of beds in hospitals weren't the actual beds it was the staff they had to support it the beds were sitting empty and derelict wings of hospitals.
it wasn't that's propaganda beneficials are using to try and avoid being held to account for the stupid decisions they made.

Covid wasn't half as bad as the reaction to it. The bureaucratic response has a greater death toll.

And doing it again is just misanthropic.

None of this is true. You do not understand this topic.

I need to look into long covid more to form much of an opinion.

Definitely fewer. People are tired of it.

This is false, it does make a difference. Viruses travel in respiratory particles and these are reduced by masks. Infection happens when a sufficient number make it through the barriers. But it's true it makes less of a difference for omicron than original covid because omicron is incredibly infectious, and omicron is also less lethal than original covid, so the benefit is reduced today, and we have no mandate. It was always about public health, not control.

It IS irrational whenever these so called "experts" are telling you to behave irrationally.

It ISN'T irrational whenever these so called "fringe bloggers" are telling you to behave rationally.

I am perfectly capable of thinking for myself, thank you.

    How so?

Most hospitals were perfectly fine. This is fake news.

Bingo. Too bad that people in my neck of the woods are too stupid and/or too cowardly to do that. I was one of the very few people who refused to wear one.

Splendid!! Here's your chance to educate me.

There's nothing to look into; it doesn't exist. What people are calling "long covid" is really just either covid itself or a plethora of other unrelated things. IOW, it's just fear mongering.

Nah. Roughly the same amount of people would put the masks right back on again. People here in the States are by and large too cowardly to take a stand against tyranny. They don't wish to give up their conveniences.

It makes no difference at all.

Not necessarily, and even viruses that are in respiratory particles are not forever-bound to those particles.

The same amount of respiratory particles exist whether a mask is worn or not. Nothing is reduced.

... and that "sufficient number" could be as small as one single virus (but likely more than that).

There is no such thing as "original covid".

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA ... it was always about control (and money).

I am not sure if it's worth trying to convince them of anything, but keep in mind they don't even believe long covid exists, so that would be a prerequisite for your question mattering to them.

LOL. No way. Cases are near lows and deaths are near the lowest of the whole pandemic.
There's no serious talk about masks for covid reasons.
Is Fox playing on fears or something?

    from your link...
4After this story ran, an HHS spokesperson stressed to Fox News Digital that language on possible new mask mandates came from participants involved in Coforma's research, and not from HHS. But the spokesperson declined to answer questions about whether HHS supports the recommendation in the study that HHS paid for, supported and publicized on its website.

    Wrong!
    It is YOU

in the form of increased insurance premiums and impact on productivity of your state plus, since this is semi permanent and often people will end up on the public purse with ongoing disability care

Do you have a source saying that COVID caused my premium to go up? Has an insurance provider made this statement? And what facts do they have to support it?

Especially when they drive down the road wearing it in a car by themselves are walking down the sidewalk and riding a bicycle outdoors by themselves.

Any time there is stress on the system in the form of increased care requirements the corporations will pass that along
