And in another news update Ukraine has officially been supplied with JDAM ER kits for its air force. Limited numbers have apparently already been used but many more are now being sent. These kits are highly accurate and will compliment HIMARS as Ukraine's long range strike system.

Those weapons gonna make mop-up more difficult -- more green teenage Ukrainian lads fed into the meat grinder - don't need accuracy when you have a 10-1 artillery advantage. Front line life expentancy for these Lads is 4 hours .. .. you can keep feeding them into the grinder as long as supplies last .. not gonna turn Crimea back into Ukrainian Territory.

 

Just a quick update from Oxyx. The website is reporting that as of today total visually confirmed Russian tank losses (from all causes) have surpassed 1800 vehicles of all types with T-64s making up only a tiny proportion of those losses (117). Confirmed Ukrainian tank losses still stand at less than 500 (472). Close to a 4:1 kill rate. Granted some tanks lost during Ukrainian offensive ops into Russian territory or as a result of Russian advances might be harder to detect/confirm and have therefore not been included but still not too shabby.

If the current loss rate continues unabated the Russians should hit the 2000 mark in about 6-8 weeks, perhaps sooner if Ukraine launches a significant offensive before then.

Maybe if the Ukrainians can hold out long enough for the Russians to waste up to 50k worth of cannon fodder in Bakmut, then that would still be a win for the Ukrainians if they lose the city.

It is very easy to start the war, but it is very difficult to predict who will win, just look on the last 100 years of the world history.
No doubt Russia has a big advantage - historically Russian had no problem to sacrifice thousands of soldiers and civilians just to prove their leader is right. Russian population is about 140 million, Ukraine about 40 million, and Putin is ready to sacrifice 10 Russian soldiers for one Ukraine soldier - so the future does not look bright for Ukraine.

We can't compare casualty rates from 1939.. because they don't compare estimates are roughly 50-50 overall .. with russia losing at a much higher rate in the initial phases of the war - Ukraine now losing at a slightly higher rate in the trench war. where artillery rules .. russia a 10-1 artillery advantage. everyone is calling it a "Meat Grinder" .. but terminator style .. these guys talk about evading these drones .. which you don't want to try to shoot at .. cause hard to knock down.. and if you miss .. they gonna blow you up .. zoom in on you and suicide themselves .. this is on both sides .. the clone wars have begun ... this is just the beginning .. and everyone knows it .. a huge race with tons of competitors already .. small nations can now defend themselves against larger .. game changing technology .. the manufacturers having a field day .. Israel choked though .. they have some really good stuff for the testing .. Drones - AA .. same with China .. would not be surprized if china weazles its way in.
