    Let me explain this to you like you're a 2 year old (hey, that's how you're behaving).

    All societies have violence.

    A society that has excessive violence, is considered a violent society.

    (let me know if I'm going too fast for you)

    Perth does not have excessive violence, and therefore it's not considered a violent society.

    It certainly has violence though; no one is denying that.

    So, you're little rant has just made you look silly really. Are you blushing?

    A killing in self defense is not a crime. So it is not contributing to violent crime, it is taking out the trash.

    Police are reactive. So you are ok with people being murder so long as that murder gets caught? What if that murder could have been prevented by an armed citizen? Your reactive approach will continue to result in the death's of millions of people. I for one will take my handgun thank you very much.

    Everyone talks tough about "Gun-clinging conservatives" when they are safe and secure.

    God forbid should a violent crime effect you in some way I imagine you would change your tune. Everyone does.

    When the (*)(*)(*)(*) hits the fan everyone wants someone with a gun there to protect them.

    If I saw Iranian Terrorists blowing up nearby Electrical Grid Tranmission towers, and Called Shasta County Sherriffs it would take them an Hour to respond .

    Thats not what it is, stop being childish.

    Its about responsible citizens being able to defend themselves if a threat presents itself.

    Depending on your State you probably interact with Concealed weapons holders on a daily basis and you are still alive right? Must be those defective guns that refuse to jump out of their holster and start shooting randomly.

    You DO understand that a large number of people that brandish a weapon in defense of themselves are killed with their own gun right?
