[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fByaNBLYaU&feature=youtube_gdata_player"]Ron Paul Highlights at the ABC / Yahoo / WMUR Debate in New Hampshire - YouTube[/ame]
Yeah, just imagine if the losers at ABC gave him the time he deserved instead of going to Huntsman every 5 minutes. They completely ignored him the second hour. He knocked the newsletter question out of the park in such a way that I don't think he'll have to ever answer that question ever again. RON PAUL 2012!!
I'm a huge Paul supporter, but I gotta go the other way on this one. Yes he mopped the floor with the others (particularly Gingrich), but that doesn't help his cause and never should have been allowed to divert his focus from the main goal. The objective was to expose Romney. The rest of them are nobodies. The objective was not met, therefore last night's debate was a failure. Let's hope he does better this morning on MSNBC.
Romney isn't the objective yet. He's clearing the field to become the ultimate anti-Romney candidate for when the Republican primary goes west and he has all the support. I think it's a smart move. Let the others attack Romney for now.
I thought he did great, he basically murdered both Santorum and Gingrich, next one on the list is Romney.
I think he's looking to be 1 on 1 with Romney. Then he's really the anti-Romney candidate. Once it's basically 1 v 1, then the attack dogs will come out.
If you think Paul was well served because he got equal or more time than his usual few minutes, you need to schedule an appointment to see a good shrink. Paul looked, talked and acted petty.Outright mean and practically incoherent.Paul has no message other than cutting spending by a Trillion. That's it.Everything else he comes up with mostly theory or experimentation. We don't need a President who wants to tinker around.WE KNOW WHAT WORKS and what doesn't. Reagan was the model.Newt's New Congress was the Model.
Yes, when he said with absolute sincerity that his heart weeps for the men coming home from war he looked mean and incoherent. You don't know what works. That's why the American people hate their elected leaders, fear their government, are almost 16 trillion dollars in debt, soaring energy prices and have an increasingly worthless dollar. You don't know anything. Newt won't be President. Ron Paul literally had him whimpering last night.
How on earth will Reagan era policies save us? How can the war on drugs be expanded at this point? Coffee a class A narcotic? A military build up for terrorism? The globalists want our military stripped. Just enough to do their world policing and for attacking rogue nations with miniscule conventional forces. Americans are growing more nationalist by the minute. The legislature for a Hitleresque regime is already in place. NDAA and Patriot Act. Camps are built sitting empty waiting for trains to arrive. A new military build up and with one election they can hand over the tools of their own disappearance. I doubt they are THAT stupid. Weimar Republic? Anyone? The surpluses of the Clinton/Newt neoliberal era came from stolen SS funds. You trust no one in real life, but believe the garbage you hear on TV? It's time to take a look in the mirror, Foolardi. You are the reason we are dying. Only you can change you.
Whatever. Reagan proved the right man for the job, even before sitting down on his first day in the Oval Office. Proof ... The hostages were released.Even those camel-breath morons in the Middle East had the sense God Gave Geese when realizing a new Sheriff was in Town.No longer any Barney Fife { Jimmy Carter } in the White House. What else ya got ... Bub ?
Reagan policies are going to save us? So we're going to outspend.... terrorism? And expand government? Pass another amnesty bill? What are you even talking about? Do you even know what you're talking about? Reagan is irrelevant. He's almost a fictional character at this point held up by the neo-cons as some mythical being whose policies are magic solutions for every and any possible problem. New problems need new solutions. Suggesting "Reagan policies are going to save us" makes me wonder if you even know what year it is, never mind what our national problems are.
So Fictional he is even credited for the term" Reagan Democrat ". What planet are you from ... again.?
You dodged the question. What policies are going to save us from our current problem? I press only because you've already derailed the thread with your incoherent rambling. We're broke. We're in massive debt. Our government is more powerful than ever - more powerful than it was even supposed to be. What "Reagan policy" are you proposing as the answer to all of our woes? Do you even know or did you just hear this on Hannity last night?
Um...really? Your logic is hostages were released on the day some guy became president 30 years ago? Reagan was in office for 2 terms. Argue how his policies would work under today's conditions. Which we both know you can't. You would vote in a guy who looked good on a horse. And for the record, I have read works by Reagan advisers. They had NO clue how to fix the situation when he took office. His terms are when the barrow and spend mentality came to fruition. Kissinger basically was commander and chief for the 8 years. And what made him look good was the economy righted itself around the 3rd year of his 1st term.
Just a lot of talky talk talk.Yapitty yap yao from Liberals. The proof is in the pudding. It's recorded history.Liberals can pretend the Jimmy Carter years weren't all that bad.Just like Obama's first 3 years of digging out from the Bush ditch. Just a lot of sad sack empty rhetoric and half-ass cooked numbers and theory. The Country is Center Right. The Country may longer get fooled again. Fool us once,Jimmy Carter. Fool us twice Obama. 3rd times the charm.
I am no liberal. I'm just the future. Capitalists who read instead of guess and take someone else word. You have said nothing. This is why I don't trust neocon/social conservatives. Because you don't read, you have no clue what you are. Why talking heads can call socialism conservatism and you swallow it whole, while carrying the flag. I know, I know. Me and my "fancy wordz muboz jumboz"
As the weeks and months pass in this election, to me, those against Ron Paul are sounding more and more irrational and those for him are sounding more and more reasonable.
I got a little laugh out of Paul calling himself a member of the Democratic party, during the debate last night (ABC, about 30 minutes in). Obviously nothing more than a slip of the tongue, but goes to what I said about the McCain slip... good for a laugh, but nothing more.
How many years has old man Paul been in Congress.Cite for us a major or even minor accomplishment. If you can't than a I can't think of a single reason to find him credible as a President, whose job is to lead.Has Paul been on any Committee's in Congress.Or is he merely content to be a lone wolf. That's not a team player and helps no one. Congress is a body. The 2 Party's are Bodies. What is Ron Paul.A frustrated Lone Wolf with a bunch of half-cocked idea's that sound more like a Nutty Professor in class expounding Theory.
Yeah. We are all still waiting on your Reagan policies from the 80's that will save the day in 2012. This new horse the Paulphobes have found to ride has a limp. No one likes ANY of the bills that have been passed in modern history. The fact Paul didn't sign on to those that have is his trump card.
