I love anything with wheels and a motor(s) wings or props, or even legs on it ! I don't care how many wheels or motors, one to whatever !ha ha Yes thanks for relating your story, and your story was just as exciting. My experience was more dark, still they both had life messages to relay and we learned very quickly that that the rubber side goes down and the other side the paint side goes up, eh brother? Oops I about forgot the most important lesson! Not only does the paint side go up so goes our soul 'up'. I think I was not in hell, but another place named by the bible. Most of us, even Christians think of Hell as the lake of fire and eternal torment, the place of eternal (*)(*)(*)(*)ation for those who have rejected God and committed mortal sins without repentance.

However, I think I was at the gates of Sheol. Sheol is Hebrew word and the new testament written mostly in Greek it is named Hades texts or Hades in Greek texts) referred to "the place of the dead." Well this is getting long so I will save the bible study for Church, either e church or 'real church...see you there (in the church of your choice, Sunday ?

Wow that is an amazing story. I have a similar one from when I was a teenager (albeit nothing close to yours, a Harley, I can only imagine). Me and my friends used to ride Go-Peds (gasoline scooters). Stock they only went 20 but I had mine modified to top out at around 40mph. Well one day we decided to go on a semi-long journey through the riverbed. I hopped on my Go-Ped not even bringing my helmet and my friends told me I should put one on. I told them "I'll be fine let's just go" and for some reason (glory to God) they decided to be persistent and demand I wear it (went on several expeditions with them before without a helmet, they never mentioned it all those times). So I did. Sure enough I hit a dip in the road and landed on the rocky pavement face first. Doctor said I most likely would not have survived or suffered brain damage had I not been wearing a helmet (it got beat up pretty good). This must have been a pre-warning for me to stay away from motorcycles. ;)

Thanks so much for sharing RA! When I came back (from being dead or without a heartbeat) I was kind of happy to leave that place because I did not have the 'feel good' thing nor did I see a 'light'. I did know things were in there, and up from down, I felt like I was standing on something only about 8" wide but couldn't tell how big the place was, it felt like I was in a giant cave. It was mostly dark that below me there was 'nothing' and above me, well that is where the voice seemed to be coming from! The voice, it was not like I heard it, but rather...ummm'...well I have never had that kind of experience, of course I knew it was God. Do you know how water looks reflected on a wall or something? How the reflection quivers and moves and is connected by filaments?

Well it was dark and the filaments were very dark gray, and I didn't feel too scared or too happy to be there either. I had wrecked my Harley, I was drunk going way too fast...long story short I broken both legs and an arm ruptured my spleen etc etc and knew coming back was knew it was going to HURT!

Still I wanted to come back to the living and am happy I did. It was a profound life changing experience. I know about brain death and all that and I know that me relating my experience wouldn't change anyone's mind, but I would bet all my money if it happened to them the same way they would make them believe in an afterlife. The thing was that I nearly ended my existence in this ole earth but praise God I was granted an eternal existence...one that I am so grateful for...and one that I could never repay, it was by the grace of Jesus Christ that I got to spend a little more time here, and an infinity with God...

Yeah, I had an out of body/near death experience. This one time I was convinced I was dead, started freaking out, then became overwhelmed with bliss that I just cannot describe in words..my spirit elevated a few feet out of my body and I was moving slowly towards "the light", feeling better than is possible to feel on this earth. Then it clicked, followed by the worst feeling that I will not even try to describe in words. Then I came back to reality. It was then I believed that there indeed was an afterlife, and we have a two choices. Even the most vitriolic libs on this board, I wouldn't wish to experience the latter. :pray:

You're welcome brother RA. Personally I'm non-denominational, the bible doesn't say we have to be baptist etc. I dont think God wants us bickering amongst ourselves. Hey I too came to the faith with a little push, I had a near death experience where God asked me if I wanted to die before knowing him! I sure didn't I thought and woke up in the ER with bones sticking out seemingly everywhere...God is great eh???? Take care brother and God bless you and yours, PM me anytime ~
