    Wait, exotix, before you go into hysterics, do be advised that the government has already segregated "military grade" weapons from routine ownership protocols a long time ago. Please refer to the National Firearms Act of 1968: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Firearms_Act

    As far as being the "insane right-wing"... I suggest that this is what is insane: the "boyz in da 'hood" kick in your door in a home-invasion and all you can do is cry and beg them not to hurt you. Or, you walk down the street at night, minding your own business, and a street thug comes at you with a weapon, but all you have is a heart full of love and good intentions. So you say, "I'd rather be dead"? Be careful what you wish for, you beautiful creature....

    That is because we have enough gun laws, just enforce the ones we have and quit feeling sorry for thoses who can geem to get along and get rid of them.

    We're talking about the right-wing tea party revolution ... a civil war between liberals and conservatives .. see the Facist/Lib wars of South America in the 1970's for the kind of horror that will happen here ... I'm only in the belief that it is inevitable ... so I don't think a gangbanger kicking in doors as a home invasion is an appropriate analogy ...

    Why do you think an AR-15 looks like an M-16 but isn't called an M-16?

    Because the M stands for military, as in military grade. Not only are M-16's fully automatic, but they are put through military-grade trials to insure they are reliable weapons.

    For instance, they have to fire X amount of rounds with only Y amount of jams.

    Funny how the Joker's AR-15 jammed. If he had had an M-16 the body count would have been a lot higher.

    unless it was a very old Colt AR15 he couldn't have w/o a machine shop. The lower assembly cannot be converted like the early ones. Now please put up a vidoe of where someone claims that can do it with a rubber band and a paperclip :::: rolls eyes:::::

    He was following Bush's lead with Wide Receiver. But isn't it the gun lunatics who are against the ban on strawman sales at the border?

    Like I need to ask. The number of guns flowing to Mexico from Texas is enormous, and the GOP in the thrall of the terrorist NRA support that illegal trade.

    wide receiver 450 guns shipped with tracking transceivers in the crates and with the full knowledge and co operation of the Mexican government. Began in 2006 and was discontinued in 2007 when the smugglers learned to run the batteries
    down in the transceivers before crossing the border.

    Fast and furious - began in 2009, over 2000 weapons shipped, no tracking was attempted at all

    On your enourmous amount of guns going from Texas to Mexico I need to remind you that military grade weapons (full auto) and explosives are not available at the local Walmart

    Well, you can shmooze around pretending everything is on the up and up in favor of tea party conservatives when war breaks out but I'd rather plan for it ... beginning with the logistics of movement of armies ...

    Say for instance ... Texas to South Carolina would be a massive army of conservatives ... Georgia would be a bloodbath but the conservative armies would overun it .. Florida I wouldn't know which way it would swing ... perhaps another bloodbath where conservatives would overun it ...

    The conservative armies would then push north to meet with the Virginias and annihilate the Northeastern states and turn Mass. into system of concentration camps for Libs ...
    Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana and Ohio would annihilate conservatives and then remain as a DMZ/buffer with no further movement ...

    Texas, after purging itself of libs, blacks and hispanics would move north and join up with the fanatical tea party bread-basket states to move west to the Liberal bastion of the Left Coast and Idaho would be the staging area for invasion given it's hordes of tea party neo-nazi militias ...

    However, Texas and Arizona has to deal with hordes of Mexicans that would invade ... California with it's massive liberal armies would blitzkrieg through Nevada into Arizona and New Mexico and easily occupy it ... California would also push north to Oregon & Washington and this would be where the real holocaust would happen on the border with Idaho ...

    I myself would have long left Alabama probably to the Oregon Gold coast ... I figure I would stand the best chance there ... especially with my back against the ocean so I would only have to think about one land border and perhaps as the last refuge of escape as well as to see any conservatives trying to launch a flotilla from the sea ...

    Alaska and Hawaii would probably remain neutral due to natural impediments to invasion as well as crossings ...

    Hard to say who would win the war.

    I think what is taking place right now is a feeling out.The Democrats are already in Hot water
    with Both the Economy and ObamaCare.PLus Obama's constant Class Warfare and
    Wealth Distribution as told at many a fundraiser by this Country's Biggest Demogogue.
    There is the upcoming UN Arms Treaty vote in a couple weeks.It has been roundly
    ignored.Which by now is a pattern with the Sneak Obama.He likes to pull the wool of the
    Populace as he's done consistently with secret implimentaion of Executive Orders and
    Executive Priviledge.
    There are those who maintain that the Aurora Massacre may well have been a
    classic example of a False Flag.Meaning this Nut { Holmes } may have been made
    nuts over time.For use or programming to do what happened on Friday.
    I mean it would yield possibly faster results than the Motives behind the
    Unfinished - Fast & Furious -.

    I hear that Ice-T gave some interview in London and he defended the 2nd amendment here in the US as insurance against tyranny. Well no doubt Ice would be in favor of guns. lol I wouldn't put my hopes in him though. Too many times the celebrity types have a moment of lucidity and then they're gone again.
