Repeating (*)(*)(*)(*) like this may have been responsible for killing this poor man. I hope you are happy.

Do you ever stop and think what repeating such a horrendous analysis of the law will bring. That isn't the law at all! But if you and others keep repeating it some dumb (*)(*)(*)(*) is bound to believe it and kill someone! That has happened now and its your fault.

We may disagree slightly on the proposition that door-to-door salespeople deserve to be shot.

There is no possible way anyone could justify this shooting. This is straight cold-blooded murder.

Actually, that's exactly what we should do, though the gun mania in this country reduces logic to satire.

Or even when they're NOT on your property, but are walking about and doing such menacing things as looking around them and even talking on their cellphones. (Obviously calling in backup from their waiting gang members, ever alert to any possibility to pelt an innocent house with Skittles)

I mean next they'll be saying that beating your wives and children is illegal, and the Bible says we HAVE to do that (the enjoyment we get from following God's word has nothing to do with it.)

How are we going to feel safe without the vital neighborhood nut roving the houses? Untrained and equipped with no judgement as he is, but still heavily armed, he bravely protects us all from the slavering hordes of marauding adolescents, menacing children, threatening salesmen and, worst of all, persistent Jehovahs Witnesses, who daily disturb our peace by walking up and down the streets, talking, playing, even sometimes shouting at each other. Oh, the humanity.

Hopefully, you will have the civic mindedness to train your child to stay indoors at all times and never engage in the drug addled madness of walking down the street to buy something at the local convenience store. I mean, what does he think it's there for, his free use at any time it's open?

And please accept my apologies for getting a little off topic. Defending the American Tradition of having Armed Nuts either riding about or cleaning their guns at home is almost as much effort as the necessity of courageously slaughtering the occasional child as he begs for his life, though not half as much fun.

A nutjob intent on shooting people is not going to let a little thing like a law get in his way.

To be honest, answering the door naked can be much more effective in the last case.

Agreed. This is clear-cut cold-blooded murder.

This is a car nut running down 13 people and killing one. They have put automatic transmissions in all most all cars. Just put it in drive and you can run down as many people as you want without shifting gears once. And, why do they put high powered engines in cars that aren't allowed to go faster than 85MPH on public roads? These high powered automobiles are designed for one purpose- to break the public safety laws of the United States and endanger us all.

Actually, making cars incapable of exceeding speed limits would save thousands of lives and probably enable us to save our economy while crippling terrorism the world over through drying up its funding, but go ahead, fire up the Hummer and tailgate your way home.

And, of course, a gun has every bit as much necessity as a car. Ever hear of the cost/benefit analysis?

I guess the President and Pelosi fear the car nuts.

Yes, how much is your life worth?

That's only after you do your neighborhood duty and follow him around and calling for the cops to come. People shouldn't be looking, walking or carrying skittles... all with a hoodie, no less.

If these neighborhood guards are armed, then we're all safer. Are Jehova's Witnesses any better than lobster salesman? They are both menacing.

If somebody buys 2/3 of the ingredients for LEAN then they're trying to corner the LEAN market and they're a LEAN addict.... especially if their liver is damaged. This is concrete proof that they are LEAN addicts. The Interwebz says so.

All of those other countries that don't have armed vigilantes carrying loaded guns around their neighborhoods have very high crime rates. The US has the lowest crime rate in the western world because there are so many good guys with guns.

Unlike guns, cars aren't designed to kill people. Apples, meet oranges.

They don't deserve to be shot, but door to door sales should be illegal in states with the castle doctrine.

Homeowners can't establish valid threats, the fact is when you set foot on someone else's property without invitation you do so at your own risk.

Design intent is irrelevent. If something can be used to kill, shouldn't it be banned?

If we want to increase public safety, targeting things that are designed to kill might be the best place to start. Cars are not designed to kill. The same can't be said for firearms.

Nice to see the liberals run to glorify a senseless shooting. Once again the liberal mind dances on the grave of an innocent victim to try to destroy the rights of the nation.

If we are interested in increasing public safety shouldn't we start with targeting things that are responsible for the most deaths?

Often true, but the answer is not to not do anything, do what you can under the Consitution and checks can weed out a few, every life saved is worth the little effort it takes.

Pro tip: you show up creeping around my lawn at 2AM and the last thing you need to worry about is my Subaru. Of course guns are designed to kill. Guns are the great equalizer. If you want to increase public safety tell every law abiding American to carry; because an armed society is a polite society. Look at Kennesaw, GA (a few towns over from where I lived) - they made it mandatory for every home owner to have a gun and ammo in their homes. Crime dropped to almost nothing.

Yeah. Make cancer and heart attacks illegal. I am all for that. Implement that tomorrow. Hurry. Go.

Have a friend who played the devil in a Halloween show, tail, pointed ears, and vampire fangs, that he slept so he could answer the door for the Jehovah Witness minus the shorts. From that day forward they would cross the street rather than walk on the sidewalk in front of his house.

He worked nights and had asked them on several occasions not to knock on his door in the morning hours, which they refused to do. Wish he would have caught it on tape. :roflol:

Baloney. The law was symbolic and had never been enforced...not once has anyone been arrested for this crime of not having a gun in the home. NO ONE was compelled to follow it, if you didn't want to have a gun, you didn't have to. In other words, people that had guns kept them, people that didn't did not go out and buy one.

    BURGLARIES SKYROCKET IN KENNESAW

    99 - 42
    00 - 46
    01 - 51
    02 - 60
    03 - 89
    04 - 86
    05 - 91
    11 - 121

In 12 years the burglary rate in Kennesaw increased 300%.

LoL, I wonder how many of those burglaries ended up with the guns that the ordinance "required" their townfolk to have, stolen.
