Nope, he's just a placeholder until a decent president comes along. The last president I acknowledged as mine was Bill Clinton and before him Ronald Reagan . . . and before those two . . . zip. So in my lifetime I have been moderately pleased with only two presidents and I can't say that I actually liked either of them. But at least they were mostly competent most of the time and and they did at least grasp the general concept of leadership.

    No it is not.

The OECD defines itself as a forum of countries committed to democracy and the market economy, providing a setting to compare policy experiences, seek answers to common problems, identify good practices, and co-ordinate domestic and international policies

    source: OECD site

As always, it is very convenient for right wingers to call anyone or anything that disagrees with their ideas "leftist". But for those of us who live in the world of reality, we deal with the TRUTH.

Sorry, but he's your president until January 2017.

    .
and yet every other president in your lifetime has also been your president.
    Fair enough.
Obama is no less competent or no less of a leader.

Nonsense for a number of reasons. What if your stock market cash runs out before you die? What if we have another market crash like we had in 2008 and are going to have again real soon? Face it, there is already too much cash chasing too many poor investment opportunities without adding your SS contributions. Are the brokers going to return their commissions when they fail?

No, he's YOUR president until the end of 2016. To me he's just this guy mucking up the Oval Office and therefore the nation for three more years. That's because I've decided that this is how it's going to work for me. Sorry, but it's NOT a leftwinger thing. As for "Obama is no less competent or no less of a leader." Let me reply in the most reasonable manner possible . . . "Aaaaaaahahahahahaha!"

So are we on the same page now?

I have read up on it and they are against single payer and favor using private insurance in Healthcare reform , it is my opinion that they are not biased

Insurance cancelled? Don't blame Obama or the ACA, blame America's insurance companies

    http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2013...ama-or-aca-blame-america-insurance-companies/

    Liar! Pinocchio! Deceiver!

With all the charges flying against President Obama in the on-going effort to stop ObamaCare it’s time for a reality check.

Having failed to kill the Affordable Care Act in Congress by shutting down the government the opposition is currently taking delight in charging the president with lying to the public when he said anyone who likes their current healthcare plan will be able to keep it under the new law.

If you are one of the estimated 2 million Americans whose health insurance plans may have been cancelled this month, you should not be blaming President Obama or the Affordable Care Act.

It turns out that some people in the individual care market – about 5 percent of the overall insurance market -- are having their insurance policies cancelled.

It is estimated that half of those folks will get better coverage for a lower price. Some people will even get subsidies to help them pay the lower price ....

    Obamacare is working.

    Thank you Mr Obama!

Better coverage? Only at a higher premium, higher co-pay and higher deductible.

If they wanted "better coverage," then they would have done so by paying more like they now have to with ObamaCare.

When and where have I stated that I'm anti-Wall Street?

Heck, My 401K and my daughter's college fund are making a killing off the market and have done so since the 90's.

You see, I'm not like one of those stupid people who constantly buy/sell because of the markets up/downs.

I've continually been buying into the market at every pay check since the 90's and don't sell anything.

By doing this I take the good with the bad and it all averages out for the positive.

    That's how you do it.

3 months of reality after that article was written, demonstrates the absurdity of the claims.

    - - - Updated - - -

And we wont see most of this effect until December this year, with the employer mandate delayed until January 2015

Yep it's succeeding alright! It's succeeding in forcing Americans to buy a product that they don't want because their plans were cancelled, it's succeeding in taxing insurance providers which will make the premiums for the enrollees even higher than they already are and the newest thing to come along is that it has succeeded in empowering the states to seize assets after the death of an enrollee to recoup Medicaid costs! http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...es-can-seize-assets-to-recoup-medicaid-costs/ Yeah, they're doing exactly what they wanted to do!

Oh yeah - we can all expect "fair and balanced" reporting from Fox.

Millions more now covered under ACA and thousands of lives being save. Good news for most patriotic Americans but "bad" news for the right wing.

    Thank you Mr Obama!

First, COULD you be more ridiculous? Not possible. You link to a website DEDICATED to single payer so I can read their outright LIES about their dream. Ludicrous in the extreme.

NEVER do I ever use as a source any right leaning site. NEVER!. I endeavor to always use OFFICIAL sites. Your link to that site of unrelenting lies is the same as a Democrat using the DNC as a source of Republican ideas.

WISE UP and face reality. The GOVERNMENT is the source of high health care and thus high insurance premiums. ANYONE with a functioning brain and ANY knowledge of business could figure that out. The govt injects rules, laws, regulations, fees taxes , all of which increase costs and slow service and the govt adds nothing. How hard can it be to see the ONLY possible results?

Sorry that you lack the ability to navigate through the OECD website. Your lack of capabilities does not change the FACT that single payer costs more money. I gave you the link. I can't GIVE you ability.
Nor can I force your mind to open and learn reality from ridiculous dogma.

    Now that's FUNNY!

The obamascam liars claim 2.3 million signed up. Never do they mention how many PAID. Some claim the back end of the healthcare.gov site STILL has not been built and NO ONE has paid a premium to an insurer.

    We will see.

The obamascam also refrain from saying anything about the 6.2 million policies cancelled DUE to obamascam, but the insurers say that 89% of signups are those people replacing, AT HIGHER COST, the policies that obamascam caused them to lose.

In LaLa Liberalland, that is seen as success.

What is it in the liberal mind that causes them to utterly detest the people they claim they want to help?

With friends like liberals, the poor need no enemies.

    Obama Care is a failure.

    Why?

It's a Republican plan that uses the corporatists to line their own pockets.

Without a public option it's nothing more than a gift to the 1%.
