I admire the ability to abstain from alcohol and pray five times a day. I wouldn't last a day.

They don't seem to be less inclined to criminal activity once they emigrate from their seventh century societies to something modern:

    this is pertinent..and appreciated.

However, these are aspects of the individual Muslim, not the religion.

Every religion has at least some redeeming features. Islam is no exception. I would start by. Looking at the five pillars of Islam. The third pillar deals with Ramadan. Fasting teaches self control and discipline. If you can control the most basic of human instincts, you can control just about anything. The fourth pillar is charity. Muslims are obligated to tithe at least 2.5% of their income. The rest of the pillars are eligious commandments and are neither good or bad.

Problem with islam is that there is no central authority. What you end up is some superficial ideology/flavor, like suni or shia muslim and pretty much anything goes after that as it left to the local scholar to preach his own personal vision of his faith in the local mosque. This is why you get radically different teaching from a suni mosque in say, Iraq, than a suni mosque in Pakistan...

That's not necessarily a "good thing" - considering the penalties, and what they consider "crimes"

For that matter, North Korea also has "lower crime" than western countries

If a murder's carried out by the state, then on the books it's not a "crime".

I suggest you also include those Blacks who are members of the "Nation of Islam," headed by Louis Farrakhan. Their numbers are greater than you might think.

I agree. However, from a neutral point of view, at face value, my points are true.

True. But there are certain things that transcend the differences in sects, nations and regional or cultural differences in practices.

    Christianity?

I don't know about Judaism, but Christianity is not racist.

Racism is not condoned by Jesus.

Go and love one another as you'd love yourself.

    That's Jesus' orders.

Breaking "MAN's LAWS" might earn one a 'badge of honor."

And maybe the penalties for violations of the law or the conditions of incarceration in Western countries are less severe than in Muslim countries.

I'll defend my points but don't mistake me for an Islamist apologist.

    I'm not.

I read it somewhere and believe it sincerely...

'There are moderate Muslims. But Islam is NOT moderate.'

Jesus was a racist. He said that he was sent only to the Jews. He spoke in parables so that outsiders wouldn't know what he was saying. He never spoke to the Gentiles, and when he was before Pilate he just mumbled a few words because he thought that Pilate was a dog.

And beside all of that, it's racist to think that only a zombie Jew can save you from hell. And that's the central belief of Christianity.

Islam believes in a raceless deity and although Mohammed was an Arab it doesn't elevate Arabs to some special position above everyone else like Judaism and Christianity elevates the Jews. That's worth 95 points out of 100 right there.

Well, let me put it this way, a significant number of Muslims, (over 100 Million) take Islam seriously and in a way that you can't deny nor stop from working to conquer the world. Then capture, convert, captivate or kill everyone who isn't like them.

    Game over.

    Muslims trump Racists.

Oh, and Muslims are ALSO deadly racist against Jews.

I know it might surprise a lot of folks but there are other people in the world besides Jews and Arabs (muslims).

Im a huge fan of Farrakhan ..
and think everything that is good about Islam is reflected in this Great American Hero

    farra_s.jpg
i find him very charismatic and wish he would run for president.
His running mate should be Al Sharpen ..whose genius and forthright attitudes towards those that need political awareness would bring america out of the dark ages it has fallen into From the republican years.
    250px-Al_Sharpton_by_David_Shankbone.jpg

These men could bring the light of Islam to it's proper place in America, Obama tried to hide his Islamness and failed miserably at being honest about it.

    s-OBAMA-DRUDGE-large.jpg

Louis Farrakhan is the epitome of the righteous american male figure and his religion figures accurately in what america is becoming, an Islamic state.

We see here Bush being attracted to a Saudi Prince and we ask ourselves how far did he want to go?

Islam is tailored made for America, and i think it's presidents are preparing America for the inevitable.

We need to ask Obama to be honest about his real agenda.

Everything good and gentle is Islam , and it needs to be given it's proper place in the white house and house of representatives in order to bring america to the goodness of Islam, which is tailored made for america…

i think the homophobes would really understand the value system of Islam if they just understand why Bush as shown in the previous posts likes to kiss Muslims on the lips and hold their hands.

Jesus spoke to, and favorably about, Samaritans, including the famous parable of the Good Samaritan, in contrast to Jews in the story.

He most certainly spoke and preached to Gentiles when he ventured into Gentile territory, exercised demons from one Gentile (and sent them into a herd of swine), and fed thousands of probable non-Jews with the symbolic seven loaves of bread - representing the seven nations of Canaan.
