Alan Keyes was hand picked by the RNC, carpetbagged into Chicago from Montgomery County Md, and paid to run.

Michael Steele lost his Senate race in 2006, effectively ending his move upward in politics.

As a lieutenant Governor, Steele was the highest ranking ex elected official in the GOP who happened to be black.

Both of them had nowhere to go besides K Street or 6th Ave (Fox Noise)

 

Saying there is the "potential" for something is not the same as saying it will happen.

The 2016 elections might be cancelled because there is the potential possibility of an asteroid strike prior to the election. That's a true statement, but it's unlikely to happen.

If that’s the definition, then Cruz is a natural born citizen by being born to an American mother and having her citizenship at birth. (This same logic would apply to Obama, even if he were born in another country, which he wasn’t.)

If you are not educated in a particular subject (either through college or self taught) you will not be smart in that area.

I have discussions where very smart people buy into logical fallacy. When you "educate" these folks they are more likely to "get it" but, the fact remains that they were vested in fallacy.

Part of the problem is that we do not educate our children in Philosophy. (logic, what a good argument consists of, critical thinking and so on). A gr 12 graduate can not even tell you what a logical fallacy is never mind have a good understanding.

As such the raging masses often buy into the fallacies touted by the Politicians and the Media.

A democracy does not function well without an educated populace (in the right things .. civics, philosophy), or a fair and free media. We have neither.
