are you willing to admit that the GOP presidential candidate committed treason? If so, there is not other point.

Are you kidding me, either I agree with you or there is no other point.

From what I've read on this issue, I think one can make a strong case Nixon could have been found in violation of the Logan Act.
But Treason is one hell of a stretch.

How many lives were lost when Obama failed to pull immediately out of Iraq?

And you think that makes you special, you think you are so unique because of that. Well you're not alone so spare me your faux indignation. I still remember the day Armstrong walked on the moon not just for that but because the brother of my best friend came home missing both legs and an arm, so spare me your emotions and profanities.

The fact is you are dead wrong about what is and what is not treason and the actions in which Nixon engaged, so just admit it. And I expect this part of our "discussion" to be deleted by the mods since you have had to resort to the tone of your post instead of acting like an adult.

You have this really silly habit of unilaterally claiming victory in argument after argument and then demanding that your opponent "just admit it". Nixon, as a private citizen, intervened on his own behalf into the negotiations between the governments of North and South Vietnam that were being arranged and carried on by the US President and his emissaries. The driving reason that our President was engaged in those negotiations was to stop the loss of American lives. I think it is safe to say that the enemy - North Vietnam - considered the killing of American invaders as a positive outcome for their side in that conflict. Nixon's efforts were designed to extend that conflict and put more American lives at risk for longer periods of time. He might as well have shot them himself. They certainly died at his hand. The President thought that was treason at the time, and so did the Republican Senate Majority leader. Too bad their both dead now or you'd be demanding THEY just admit it when you tell them THEY'RE wrong about treason.
